    DMA,
Hey bud! Hang in there. I know the helpless feelings you have. I know that you feel pretty worthless right now, but I promise you that your aren't. No matter what is going on in life people generally have a problem viewing it from the right perspective. Usually, we cannot change that perspective without help. I think you will find that if you get a session scheduled with a therapist and get some Helpful dialogue started with another person things will turn the corner quickly. You sound like a good person who is just at a tough point in life and we all have those, some of us admit it, some of us don't. Some of us seek help when we need it, some of us don't. I think you are a someone who should seek help. I think you will find that the sessions will help change your outlook, which will in turn change your whole attitude, which will in turn land you that job you've been hoping for. I promise you that with the way you are feeling right now, it is definitely outwordly visible to a potential employer, even in the way you write a resume. So, man, lean on us if you need to, but really, coming from someone your age, going through the same stuff, get the help... WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?

It defintiely won't make things any worse... promise!

    Take care bro!

I signed up for counseling about a month ago. I'm going to have to wait a few more weeks before I can start. That's the joy of the free health care system over here. At least I won't have to pay. I expect it to be another 8 weeks to wait. Maybe more. I'll just have to hang in there.

For sure bro! Hang in there! I would suggest getting some physical activity in, even just going for walks will help a lot.

If you would like to feel better about living your life I have a suggestion. Go to a Doctor, explain to him all of the feelings that you are having, tell him to the best of your ability what brings these feeling on, how long they last and anything that makes you not have these feelings for any time at all.
It is very possible that you are having a chemical reaction in your brain and you need a medication to change this imbalance. I know what I am talking about because I have been there, and I found the right Doctor and now for many years I am living a very happy life and I can not understand why I ever felt the way I did during those bad times.
