    Lump on pubic hair region
    Hi,
I'm 16 years of age and I've been worrying about a lump just below my pubic hair region,
Its been there for about a month now and it doesn't seem to be going down or fading. Its about half a centremeter long, soft and red/white. If I squeeze it nothing comes out, it doesn't hurt or irritate me in any way, I'm just a bit concerned of what it might be? Can anybody help please..

    Thanks Peteh.

    (any advice would be useful)

Is it like, at the base of your penis? I'm not quite seeing where the lump is located...

OK. I am thinking it could be a thrombosis (clot) of a penile lymphatic vessel. Lymphatics are tissue vessels that are present all over the body connecting lymph nodes. It is a distinctly separate system from blood vessels. Rather than blood, they carry an opaque fluid called lymph. Sometimes during sexual activity, the lymphatics get bruised resulting in subsequent clot formation. One notices a firm, often finely beaded vessel under the skin of the penis that is mildly tender. This is not a dangerous condition and the clot resolves on its own in a few weeks unless there is recurrent trauma to the area.

You should, however, not masturbate or have any kind of sex- let it heal...

Either way you should get looked at by a doctor...
