I believe if he has it then he can make you itch if it has come into contact with you down there. Maybe wait until it passes with him before continuing with the sex.

Its caused by sweat and dead cells building up on the area,tight clothes and hot weather,its also related to athletes foot..
Keep the area dry and clean,you can buy over the counter creams to treat the area.
It is a fungus,and can be transmitted through sexual contact,sharing towels etc.

However,if there is no improvement,I suggest you go to your doctor.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to stop having sex for now, keep the area dry and clean, and keep using the fungal cream. It says to use it twice a day.
