    Closed loop expansion tank
In regards to my previous question, without a air seperator, and tank being so far away, I don't see the benefit of having a exp. Tank, because makeup water in base. Will keep system full, and without a air seperator the chances of any air making its way to penhouse, to me would be slim. With that being said, the only benefit I can see, is if I loose makeup water and a leak happens, then tank will buy me some time, if base. Static pressure is 65 psi, then pressure at penhouse 0 to 10 psi, if I'm thinking right, then the only way the water can get into system is by base. Pressure dropping low enough for gravity to take over, by then the pump has lost prime, no flow, system full of air, if I'm thinking wrong, please let me know
