    Physics Problem, Please help
An Olympic swimming pool is roughly 45 m long and 33 m wide.

How long will it take to fill such a pool with an ordinary garden hose?

AMHD doesn't do homework. That's policy.

However - isn't the water flow part of this equation?

You need to supply the depth of the pool, the diamater of the hose, the pressure of the water supply
Or my guess is overnight, plus 3 hours and 17 minutes

45 m long? Does your book really says that? I'm really surprised, because it has a standard: it has to be 50 m. Record breaking relies a lot on specific measurements and here it's the distance.

Would it be good to say someone broke a 100 m athletics sprint record on a pitch roughly 100 m long? I think not.
