OMG, I can't stand liver! I love peas though. There are so many different ways to eat peas!
I'm German, I was raised on liver and onions. Since my parents died I haven't had that dish, and really I can't say that I miss it. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It's not something I crave.
Now peas are a different story. At least raw peas. Give me a bag of raw peas and I'm giddy. I love them. If I had to choose between raw peas and chocolate (which I love) I'd have to choose peas.
I don't mind cooked peas, but I do prefer them raw.
Funny I saw this lol - I had liver just yesterday... and now I realise that there were no fried onions! Can't see how my mother forgot to put them in :P
I like peas as well, not more or not less that liver - both are good!
You have to have onions with the liver, otherwise it's just... well... liver. ;)
Crap. Now I'm actually craving liver and onions. Whodda thunk?

Im not a fan of liver that's been fried. But I like liverwurst mit spec.
And I can eat peas all day long especially pea soup.
Liverwurst is the bomb diggity. Even my daughter likes liverwurst.

Can't think of liver and peas right now. Just got done with turkey, dressing, corn, green bean casserole and cranberries!

I had liver and onions recently, and peas with it, as well as mash and carrots. Finished off with chocolate.
Yup I'm a gal who likes to have her cake and eat it, and jolly well enjoy the lot. :)
The only thing is I have to buy the liver already sliced as I really don't like messing around with it when it's raw... shudder. The other great thing about liver is it is sooo cheap!
I usually grow peas to munch on straight from the pods in the garden. You'll have to pop round to join in Alty.
What would liver and onions (and bacon) be without peas??
What I hate is... um... *thinking, thinking*... um... nothing comes to mind. There must be something.. .
I only like Liver when I cook it. I know, I'm so full of myself :p I go through spurts of liking peas and not liking them. I'll tell you what I can't stand is celery. Blech. Nasty stringy stuff. I also am not fond of cooked carrots. But I LOOOOOVE brussel sprouts and asparagus.

The toughest one is grilled peas because they keep falling though. But look at all the nice colors of peas out there too. Green yellow and black eye'ed peas to name a few. All good to me.Quote:
