Cold turkey is the worst! Like she need to handle withdrawal symptoms on top of everything else... geesh.

There won't be a cast, she broke her femur, hence the surgery. My mom broke her femur when she had her car accident. It's a very slow healing process, will involve physical therapy for many months, even a year. Then, when all is healed, there will be another surgery to remove all the pins holding the bone together, more therapy and then, hopefully, just a limp for the rest of her life.Quote:

I made my post, short but sweet, I haven't known Starby (or any of you for that matter)for very long but I already felt like she was someone I could trust. There are few people in this world that have the special gift that she has, she truly is an angel like justwantfair said.

Carol here, and yes, I got hooked almost right away. I look at it as a good addiction though, like a chocolate fix, or a nice cold diet pepsi. (:confused:)
It is really wonderful that such a place exists with something for just about anyone, I like that. I had some help originally myself with a problem with a contractor in my home, and couldn't believe how people were so knowledgeable and kind to answer. Helped me out a great deal.
It is good therapy for people who come here, and very satisfying to know that you've made a point, and helped plant a seed or set something positive in motion.
As to time on here. Yup, way too much lol I moderate on another community, and really have to watch my time on the commie. I have animals and things to do that I keep putting off when there is that one special poster I want to keep an eye on. I guess we all do that.
What's that saying? Moderation... everything in moderation. :)
