Hi Tus, Ice skating? One of many things that I haven't mastered and gave up on. I can roller skate pretty well. I used to work at an indoor "Roller Rink". Tried ice skating 3 -4 times, nope not for me.

I am trying to use the time between now and Sunday when we leave to straighted up the many "piles" of paperwork in my office at home. I haven't seen the top of my desk in months... slowly, that is how it is going.:(

EDIT: We are leaving on Sunday the 23rd and returning Jan 3rd, driving; about 550 miles.

R, I will be within 2 miles of Clarridge, Pa when I am in Pa. :)

Ahh yes the paper shuffling. You have not finished that yet? :)

Stringer: I used to roller skate too... still have my pro race skates ;) I put them on not long ago and my legs got all wobbly, LOL

Ok so you guys know I love my job and my kids. But today my patience was tried to the MAX!!

Our 11th graders were going to hand out presents at the local Salvation Army for a community service project. I had 3 students who decided not to go for the following reasons:

1. The salvation army is a loser organization
2. And I quote "What the hell has the salvation army done for me?"

So I decided that they should learn about the Salvation Army and I made them complete a presentation that they will give to the rest of those who attended when they return. One of the students actually said I am not doing this project because it is stupid, why should we help lazy people?

RRRRRRRRRRRRRR he refused to do the project... so I sent him out of my room. The place where we send them is maned by other teachers. The teacher actually sent him back to class after telling him he did not need to complete the project. WHAT!? The SS teacher that I team with and I are PO royally. Talk about underminding us!!
