Drinking alcohol shrinks the brain.
WEDNESDAY, May 2 (HealthDay News) -- While it might help your heart, drinking even moderately could shrink your brain, U.S. researchers say.

"A small amount of alcohol is beneficial for the heart," noted lead researcher Carol Ann Paul, "but there is a continuous negative correlation between alcohol consumption and total brain volume. It seems that there is not a beneficial effect of even small amounts of alcohol on brain volume."

Well, this explains a lot! Like every time I lean my head to the left or the right, it sounds like a bowling ball rolling down the ally and crashing into the wall. And I just thought I was going crazy! Whew!

I think the above question needs to be moved to a serious thread.

AH, thank you for your kindness. J_9 is actually right on target. I just cannot stand by watching some things that take place. And, I am thinking all the weird stuff going on is part of the cycle I talked about a couple of months ago on another thread. I think there is a direct correlation to the change of weather and seasons. I am very, very frustrated this week with some people.

Good thing to hear I am not the only frustrated one Ruby!!

Rather though, I am getting quite bent out of shape, so I take a deep breath, close my eyes, think of the snowy mountains, and voilà, I feel good again.

I am doing the same thing and have decided that I need to spend less time here for a few days before I blow my cool. I think it is important to not go off on people and I am hitting my brick wall over the past couple of days.

I am in the same position as you Ruby. Maybe we should take the dogs for a nice long walk.

I hope no one takes offense... but I think the entire planet is PMSing right now. LOL
