Hey Bear, Starty and Stringer! Shazzy, I'm the one in the middle of the second photo!

Bear, those are the same. Just that we made a program for the robot so that it can move around the room without bumping into obstacles put in front of it. It uses its 'eyes' which emit ultrasound, and can thus determine distances. The claws prevented it from making sharp turns, and so had to be removed.

Yup, Starty, the initial idea was to create robots so that they can be used in he lives of people and do chores, keep a watch on the house, do some simple things such as to bring a glass of water, the papers, etc.

    Hey Alty! :)

You're a good looking guy Unky. Ladies, watch out! :)

I'll take two robots please. Can you teach them to clean out bunny cages and do laundry?

That's only the vehicle form of the robot. During the weekdays, we made another form, the machine form. One like a crane. I could lift things and put them on specific places, unfortunately, there were not enough motors to make it move, so it was kind of... 'rooted to the spot".

The upcoming week, we'll build up the animal form. The animal will be a scorpion. The work plan seems long (about 70 steps) but the final result looks great in the manual.

Then, we'll do the humanoid robot. That'll be our 'chery on the cake'.

Well, Starty, all I hope is that we win the competition... a cash prize of 25,000 rupees, that makes around $710. The robot parts themselves cost around $220.
