I was on a thread with her yesterday and the question is gone and she is also off the active members list.

Yesterday for the first time I jumped on her about her answer,now I feel bad ,I hope I'm not the reason she's gone.

You don't think they would throw someone off for giving bad advice do you?

I don't believe that if she quit that she, as a member, can delete herself completely. That decision is made by the mods, I believe.

Thanks,I just noticed she is gone in the active member list but some posts are still there that she responded to,however the one where she was very insulting is removed.Odd !

Well I can't say her advice was ever spot on, but lately it had been downright insulting to some new posters. I think that gives a bad representation of this site because if I was new and that kindof judgemental, inaccurate response was what I received I would be put off. Especially since she is high on the member rating, you would think that is the way people feel and that her response was accurate.

But I am still shocked that she is gone. Maybe she will reappear as someone new.

I think they have been looking at choux for a while. It would have nothing to do with you but a collective of answers that were not good and not helpful and plus other things probably. I am not sure exactly, just because I was volunteered involved when other people were messaging me complaints about her privately but I never got involved or responded. There has been a lot of drama though apparently. Like Justy said the site does not need that.

I agree with you 100%.It does make the site look like we are here to insult people.

I have known her for years,I used to work here years ago after the old askme site closed down,we all came on board here.

I always tolerated her but yesterday,she really ticked me off.It was the first time I ever said anything negative.

I was thinking also that she will come back with another name :)

We will know if we start seeing posts ending in...
