Actually, I am training to be a cop and that is one of the requirements is to run 300 meters in 71 seconds. Sounds hard. I wonder how many laps around the track that would be, I can't think for some reason this morning.

For an ordinary circuit, I think it's one lap, or a little less.

Anyway, the speed in yards per second is 4.6 yards in a second, for a reference :)
