I used to be the manager of a car rental firm, and used to be able to take home any car off the lot at night! If they ONLY knew what I did with them! There were Vets, Camaro's, Nova's... just always a different car! I was pretty popular with the guys! :D I don't think it was because of my intellect! LOL

Did I just spell Vettes... Vets?? Oh God! LOL! I'm losing my mind!! ( I guess too many visits to the Dr. with Niki, lol... sad isn't it?. lol)

Once my buddy (Chick, believe me, that was his name and no one made fun of him) were in his black souped up Plymouth and he had "slicks" on. We were sitting on the highway at a red light. Coming the other way but stopped at the light was a State Trooper. Chick got chicken, pulled out of traffic and turned around on the brim of the road and took off. I was on the floor holding on for dear life. He cut through traffic going the wrong way. Obviously the Trooper saw this and hit the lights and the siren. He caught up to us on a asphalt road. He gave Chick 8 tickets for non regulations on his car. He was a young trooper and was very polite... asking us who was the champ on route 330 this week, smiling all the while... he hit pay dirt. This is the road we painted the quarter mile stripe across... Chick's total tickets: $370.00 and that was about 25-30 years ago.

HOLY CRAP!! Okay, as I was reading that, I was blasted back to the past! I had a male friend named Chick! No kidding! He was older than us, and had very thinning blonde hair. He used to buy us booze! He drove either a Chrsyler or a Plymouth! That is soooooo strange!!

The cops are sure different now than they used to be for sure! They would let us off with a simple "stunting" ticket, if we tried to out-run them!

Edit: When I had my Mustang, I had really wide Mags! They had passed a law that the bulge couldn't be sticking outside of the wheel well. I got a 24 hr notice that I either had to get new rims and tires, (they were sweet) or pay a $350 fine. I got fibreglass flares, for $100 instead. It changed the stock quality, but I knew they were fibreglass, and could be knocked off! ;) Silly policemen! :D
