Wish I had known you didn't realize that. I am usually having to ask all these questions about getting around on the site. Ah... ok... I know about that and if I don't get it, I do tend not to ask. I just bow out. It is one thing to ask my best friend something but here we are world wide, don't think I want the world to know I am the age I am and still not too knowledgeable about some things.

I just found out three years ago from my best friend I have had since 8th grade that the guy I was in a car pool with going to college was smoking pot, all the while, thinking he just rolled his own cigs like my daddy did when I was little. I thought he held it interestingly. And he also inhaled a little differently than daddy always did.

I honestly should have gotten it when one day, he told me he did not ever want me to try smoking pot. I nonchalantly said OK. Then he said if I wanted to try it, it should only be with him. Dang, I still didn't get it. I know that sounds unbelievable but it was some years ago. LOL My friend cracked up and I thought I would hyperventilate, realizing how uninformed I was even all these years later. She knew it at the time but we never spoke about it. I guess if I had not seen daddy roll his own in those little papers (and it was really cigs, not pot by the way with daddy!! ) LOL I might have gotten a clue.

I just woke up you guys! How crazy is that? I need to get my days and nights straight again, or I will never get any work done! Good thing I don't have a deadline this week, or I would be screwed, blued, and tatooed! :p

Angel, sad thing is I could type those stories all day long and not run out. LOL When I first got married, I would ask my husband what something meant that I had heard at college. He would just say, "You don't need to know." I just said OK and went on... gosh.. I have asked since my friends, sister, etc. I was way too compliant back then.

I think they did. Ha. My friend and I would hear girls talking about stuff, using words we didn't know (we knew they were terms but didn't know what they meant) so we would go to the library and get the slang dictionary. Even then (high school), some was Greek to us. Goodness. :o

Little did they know that us girlz had a language of our own too... did they? My friend and I always had this secret language.
