You can still have coffee...
I had a latte an hour before I delivered my daughter! LOL I really did!
Oh wowy... really! For some reason I was thinking caffiene was a big fat no no... oh how I'm tempted now! :p I will probably wait until I'm past 12 weeks... just in case... I'll make myself paranoid if I have some right now :o I can hear yah now start, "GIVE ME A LATTE....NOOOOW!!!" :p
I thought I might be in labor, drove myself to the quick drive in latte place... then to the doctor... she said yup, you will have a baby today, I went home and all of a sudden an hour later, I had my daughter almost didn't make it to the hospital room... and my mid wife was late... It was easy as pie, I could have done it myself! You can have a cup of coffee or two!
What a story start... sounds like it went very well for yah! A cup... or TWO!! Me oh my! So you said you had a midwife? I was thinking about finding a doula...
Mid wife's are great and much more personal... I don't even know what a doula is??
My friend had a doula and really liked the experience. Here is a pretty good explanation of one, "A doula who accompanies a woman in labor mothers the mother, taking care of her emotional needs throughout childbirth. A doula also provides support and suggestions for partners that can enhance their experiences of birth. A postpartum doula continues that valuable emotional support and guidance, helping a family make a smooth transition into new family dynamics."
Amazing Rank, you have a wealth of knowledge. Do you have a doula?Quote:

Well everyone, please wish me and my beautiful wife a happy fifth wedding anniversary. Five years ago I said "I do" and she said " I think". But I convinced her that her decision to participate in this "joint venture" was a good one. (?) I believe that she is very happy, I know that I am, I GOT THE BETTER PART OF THE DEAL!!
Happy anniversary stringer and mrs stringerQuote:
