Baaaaddddd Starby!! Sleep is overrated... but yes... I really should do that! Thanks Batman, I didn't even realise the time. I got all ready to go out tonight, only to find out it was cancelled once again. :( So, I decided to have an evening nap. Bad Idea!! I think I will grab a snack and have some warm chocolate milk. That might do the trick!

Starbs, how's your puter doing?

Everyone's real quiet today. So let me cut into the mood. I'm doing super. It rained all day, so I didn't feel like doing anything... napped for about 3 hours while "studying"

Found out my tail light was busted, here's the kicker. My acura has FOUR taillights! So I had to replace them all. Pshhhhhh.

I wrote a book today Sneezy, a children's book about a duck, want to guess what her name is? I love it, so do the kids, and hubby, and Starbuck said she likes it to. Just working on the illustrations, then I'm going to see about getting it published. I hope it happens, I really love this book. :)

That's kind of cute. Please tell me someone gets plucked and eaten. :)

I'm doing the illustrations. Didn't I ever mention that I paint and draw? I do mostly charcoals, pencil drawings, and oil paintings, but I think I'll do this in water color. I want it to look childlike and colorful, water colors (when done correctly) are very nice. I've never worked with them before, so it will be trial and error, they are very different than oils or charcoal. I'll see what happens. :)

I didn't realize that I hadn't mentioned it. My dad and I used to go to classes weekly, not really classes, but a three hour weekly session at an artists house, a 3 hour period to paint or draw and not be distracted. We loved it. I haven't done anything since he died in 2001, but I want to start again. I actually got a new easel and paints for Christmas, I'm planning on breaking in this week. It's hard to do, allot of memories of me and my dad, I'm hoping to make new ones though. :)

Wow. I actually just commissioned a friend of mine (he's 19... but the kid is an artist in the making, I swear) to do 3 charcoals for me. I'll e-mail you pictures of them./

Sneezy, I'd love to see them. Just a note, I don't do people, refuse to, I never like the outcome. I do landscapes, animals, buildings, anything but people. :)

Oh no M, has Starduck given up? But she's the main character in my book, she can't give up. If the book sells then maybe I'll have to buy her a new puter. :)

Got to run, the kids want me to read the story one more time. I'm so glad they like it. I'm also going to get my dusty charcoals out, see what kind of stuff I can come up with. :)

I'll be back later, or maybe tomorrow, I tend to get hung up when drawing, I forget the time, fall asleep with my paper and paints. It's quite the sight when I wake up. :)
