Doing well until a few minutes ago, then I guess everybody in the US started googling fireworks because my connection just slowed WAAY down.

Yep, getting to be about that time.
I have never done anything big for the 4th. My husband is working so even if I did it would be me and my son. We are here hanging out at home.

For a number of years we were regular attendees at a display when the kids were little. As they got significant others the family togetherness kind of took second place. Enjoy your boy while you've got him, and TAKE PICTURES. I don't have nearly enough.
