Starby, I love Leno, my ex-boyfriend was actually on Leno a few weeks back. He's an entomoligist at the LA museum. He wrote me an email to tell me he was on but I hadn't checked it in a while. I caught his part purely by accident. I'm sitting there watching, I looked away for a minute and then heard his voice, I was shocked. My hubby was more excited then I was, weird reaction to seeing your wife's former boyfriend on TV. Men, I can't figure them out.

Thanks anyway Sneezy. I go back for an eye exam next Friday, unfortunately there's nothing they can do, or at least there's nothing they are willing to do. I just might have to haul my cookies to my regular doctors office again and see if he can work his magic.

    Thanks Sneezy. :)

That's funny Alty! Yeah men, who can figure them, lol ;) I usually have Leno on, but most of the time I'm talking to you guys and not paying any attn, haha. So I must have missed that guy.

Sneeze? have you read a new thread where this guy says he's worried about his girlfriend, because she went to the dr today and got an x-ray, and they found a lump on her spine, and the Dr.'s told her that it's because of stress! Ok, now am I missing something there? lol If something like that is because of stress, I must be pretty darn lumpy... LOL! ;)

Can I just say that it is NOT a beautiful day in MY neighborhood?

    RAH...

My weekend escapade (you know, the whole watching "hot navy men in tight jumpsuits get into sleek planes), not only do I have the sunburn that rivals the surface of the sun, but also the grandfather of all cold sores. Its taken over my bottom lip...

    Seriously...

I feel like Beaker... you know, Dr. Honeydew's assistant with the HUGE orange lip? Yeah. Beaker.

    Rah...

    Pain... lots o' pain... :(

(I took off yesterday cause of the stupid, idiotic pain... may end up home early today)

Well there's our missing Chicky! We were about ready to put out an APB on you! ;)

Can I just say that I am SO not a fan of pain! Really... sheesh...

Yeah, it sucks for sure. I don't get cold sores very often, but my Mom gets them severely bad and you can tell how much they hurt. Actually yours sound more like heat blisters, and I've sure had those! Big OWWWIE!

Yup, heat blisters on top of the cold sore. I haven't had one in years...

Anyway... how are you? I missed chatting with everyone yesterday!

I'm good. There wasn't too much chatting going on yesterday as you can probably see.

I got an update on my cousin and his wife this morn. There hasn't really been too much change, although they are both stable for now. My cousin seems to be responding somewhat to antibiotics, and they were able to take his wife off her BP meds, but she is still on life support. They still can't figure out what bacteria is causing their illnesses, none of the tests that they have done have given them any clues. They have a viral bacterial specialist coming in today, so hopefully they can figure out what's making them so sick.

Wow... that's something else. Makes my "little" cold sore look so menial and tiny. I hope they will be better soon...

Thank you! Yeah, it's a pretty scary thing seeing as they both got sick at the same time, and just thought they had the flu. But within 24 hrs they were in the hosp in critical condition. Makes you wonder what in the world is out there these days eh? They are at a good University hospital though, so hopefully they have some good Dr.'s that are right up to date with new viruses.

It's so warm and sunny out this morn. I can't believe they are calling for snow again tomorrow... BLAH!

    Hey ladies.

    HI HC!! Heat blisters.. yikes!

Well, I have the day off... so I think I'm going to take the time to clean my apartment... do some laundry... and possibly go to the mall to get some new clothes + cologne. How's everyone else's day looking?

Yeah I gotcha! It's nice to be able to work from home. For yrs I worked at this one Floral Shop, and we were stuck downstairs, in what we called the dungeon. All of the greenhouses were on the main floor, so they stuck us down there. It was ridiculously hot in the summer, and freezing cold (to the point that each of us brought our own space heaters and kept our coats on sometimes) in the winter. There were no windows, so you never even knew what the heck the weather was doing outside. I sure don't miss any of that! ;)
