Twizzlers on shoes, what a waste. No way, I love twizzlers. Does dog poo work? I can put dog poo on the bottom of my shoes, actually not hard at all, I'll just walk in the backyard. Will that work, I don't really want to try it, but I will if I have to.

M, Starby is having major computer problems, she's having a fit, she's going through AMHD withdrawl. She says to tell you that she did a defrag. Also, and I'm slapping her for it, she downloaded Stopsign, a virus scan that promises to scan and get rid of all viruses, first one free, then you have to sign up to receive more. Bad idea, but she did it, and now the computer, well it no worky. Any ideas? I'll pass them on.

Is it late? It's 230am here. My friends just left... a mess at my place :(

Ah, I'm too pooped to clean. I'm hoping it'll all be cleaned by the time I wake up by some cleaning fairy.

M, Starby wants me to tell you, she has "threatfire" and "Avast", can't run them, but she has them. Sorry, she's upset.

I have no idea what those two programs are. I've always used AVG

Good luck with the fairy sneezy - I could use one of those :)

Its 2:30 here too, I guess it isn't too too late, but I'm pretty exhausted - feels like 4

I must admit I haven't heard of either of them , maybe she needs to take it to a computer shop. Sounds like she has a virus so it'll need to be cleaned out properly.

No no, Sunday morning right now. I'm on the east coast, about an hour out of NYC... :)

M, I just looked up this Stop sign virus scanner, did some research, yup, it's a virus, and a nasty one. Found a site, directions on how to remove said program/virus/crap, and then an update, it can't be removed. I think Starby may be pooched. I'd love to help her, but unless I can actually sit in front of her computer (she lives 5 hours away) it's not likely, I'm a visual person, find it really hard to explain step by step instructions to anyone.

I'll look in to it some more. If anyone has any ideas, Starby would really appreciate it. She's having convulsions from AMHD withdrawl. We have to help her. ;)

Not really a great solution, but sometimes system restore (if its XP) can help you out, at least to get your stuff off and restore the computer to its factory state. That's usually the best way out of these jams -- a full restore to new condition - but you lose your info.

I just checked the stop sign thing... there's a debate on whether it's a bad site. Regardless, at this moment, I suggest possibly getting AVG to see if it'll get rid of it. I personally use AVG and I'm pretty sure it's a decent program. I also suggest following biggie's advice by using system restore.

Starby, the computer team is looking for a solution. From now on, you are not allowed to download anything without running it by everyone first, and I mean everyone. You got it! :)

Jeesh, okay, can't say I'm completely innocent, I learned that lesson the hard way.
