It would be wonderful to plan a wedding with your partner and the more the male is involved the less stress we feel for making sure everything gets done...

That said, men have little to no interest in weddings and most men don't want to be involved in planning and if that is you, just tell her that. If she needs help wants something done tell her to ask but otherwise you are fine with the date and time and show up responsibility. :D

Ha ha, sounds like you got it all played out Sneezy, sounds like a plan to me. I wanted to be involved in the beginning, then when my mom and fiancé shot down all my ideas, I no longer cared and just say "that looks nice" or "I like it" when I'm not really paying attention

My partner's ideas have been...

1. Zoot suites
2. Halloween wedding
3. Star Wars Theme...

So far, none of those ideas are flying either... We agreed it will be a date and time and show up responsibility.

What is a good option is to purchase a couple of kegs and have free beer until the supply is tapped.

When my parents got married they put a $500 limit on the bar (that was a lot of money back then!) And they told the manager of the hotel to tell them when it had hit $500 and they would decide if they wanted to take it up more or leave it.

$500 came and went, the manager never told them when they had hit their limit... they got over $1000 worth of alcohol for free :D

Bet he was kicking himself :p
