Alty, you know we would take care of him like our own. :)

Oh, I'm not worried about the advice he'd get, I just think he's too young to be interested in girls yet. ;)
If he has to ask someone, I'd hope that if he can't come to me, he'd come here. I know you'd all take care of him for me, make sure he's on the right track. That's one thing I know I can count on. :)
I'm just not ready for my little boy to date.
Chin whiskers and shaving? No! He's recently started using underarm deodorant. That was a big enough shock for me. I'm not ready for razors and shaving cream. :(
Sigh. Where did the time go?
Not funny. ;)
He does have a crush on one of the girls in his class. He's liked her since last year, and they're both going to the same junior high next year, so he's giddy about that.
She's adorable, I have to say that he has good taste. So far it's all been innocent. He gave her a gift for Christmas last year, and she gave him a hug. That's it. I'm just waiting for the day that he asks me if he can go on a date.
What's the age limit most parents have for dating now? Personally, I think no one on one dating until 16. Is that too strict? Not strict enough?
I don't mind him going on group dates when he's 14, but no one on one. Am I dreaming?
I'm not ready for this. :(
In truth it varies by the child. But at his age so long as parental supervision is right there and its just ice cream or pizza then it might be OK. But absolutely no alone time. And reguler dating (one on one) Id say maybe after they start collecting their pension would be a starting place ;)
He is, that's what worries me. He's my kid through and through. He could charm the skin off a snake. ;)
He's a good kid, but he's not a teen yet. Right now he still loves his mom, and that's the way it should stay ;). He's such a sweetheart. The other day I wasn't feeling good, so he made dinner. Yes, it was only Mr. Noodles (the only thing he can make) but it was so sweet. My daughter made toast to go with it, the set the table, served and everything. I had tears in my eyes.
Ya, I know, I'm just a big sap. :(
Pension. LMAO!
I always tell my husband that the first time a boy calls asking for my daughter, we're moving to the middle of nowhere, deep woods, no cable, no computer, no phone. Nothing.
She can date when she's 35, or I'm dead, whichever comes first. ;)
Na, I'm not that much of a worry wart. I'm hoping that whenever they're on a date they'll hear my voice in their heads telling them to be careful. I expect them to make mistakes, I'd just really like to avoid the bigger ones.
Okay, got to go pick up the rug rats from school.
I'll be back later.
Be good while I'm gone, and watch Bear, he's a sneaky one. ;)
