Today was better than yesterday. With the family yesterday, cousins and other relatives, it was rather boring. We spoke little at dinner, and the 'party' ended quickly.

Today, it was so much of a rush! The lunch was good, with fried noodles, some snacks and roasted chicken. Then, we played some games, all in fun! :p Well, in short, it was a great day :)

    KISS

    Hheath:

Now your aware of everything. After experience, things may become second nature and that's when MISTAKES happen. Be careful. Train yourself to "be aware" so your able to operate the equipment when your impaired from a cold or or other factors.

Suit's getting a workout. Wedding last weekend, funeral this weekend. Same family.

Hopefully off to the Chinese festival for lunch.

I know, and I'm usually careful around things that have the potential of causing me serious bodily harm. I like knowing how and why things work, so I usually figure out which parts are dangerous fairly early on.

Now, if the machine would just stop breaking. It broke 3 times in 2 days while I was using it. My boss had to take it apart and fix it. Apparently, it's not entirely unheard of for that particular machine to go down on a semi-regular basis. It just meant I got to go do something else while it was getting fixed.

There's a nipple shortage, so there's been a lot of side work and less pressing matters getting taken care of.

Hahahaha a nipple shortage. Oh... nope, not even going to go there.

the fact that I can use the word nipple so often now may be one of my favorite parts of the job ^_^

Well getting ready for my first service since I broke my leg ( not able to stand for longs time) and my first service as a Lutheran pastor ( changed denominations last month)

A little scared, they use a different service than I used, so even though we get to "read" it so scared I will get going on my old wording. Oh well, most of them most likely would never know the difference.

I sure the same principle applies.

    Good luck.

    LMAO! I love it. :)

Chuck, good luck, just remember, if you screw up, just blame it on the pain meds. ;)

Went fairly well, not as many fell asleep today as normal ( most likely watching to see if I would trip and fall)

    Reminds me of a joke.

    Just for you Chuck.

The new priest was so nervous at his first mass, he could hardly speak. Before his second appearance in the pulpit, he asked the Monsignor how he could relax. The Monsignor said, 'Father, next Sunday it may help if you put some vodka in the water pitcher. After a few sips everything should go smoothly.'

The next Sunday the new priest put the suggestion into practice and was able to talk up a storm. He felt great! However, upon returning to the rectory he found a note from the Monsignor:

    Dear Father,

    1. Next time sip rather than gulp.
    2. There are 10 Commandments, not 12.
    3. There are 12 disciples, not 10.
    4. We do not refer to the Cross as 'The Big T'.
    5. The recommended grace before meals is not 'Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub. Yeah God!'.
    6. We do not refer to our Saviour, Jesus Christ and his Apostles as 'J.C. and the Boys'.
    7. David slew Goliath, he did not 'kick the $hyt out of him'.
    8. Moses parted the water at the Red Sea, he didn't pass water.
    9. We don't refer to Judas as 'El Finko'.
    10. The Pope is consecrated, not castrated, and we don't refer to him as 'The Godfather'.
    11. When Jesus broke the bread at the Last Supper he said, 'Take this and eat it, for it is my body', he did not say 'Eat me'.
    12. David was hit by a rock and knocked off his donkey, he wasn't 'stoned off his a$$'.
    13. The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost are never referred to as 'Big Daddy, Junior, and the Spook'.
    14. It is always the Virgin Mary, never 'Mary with the Cherry'.
    15. Last, but not least, next Wednesday there will be a Taffy-Pulling contest at St. Peter's, not a Peter-Pulling contest at St. Taffy's.

Is it just me or does 'Big Daddy, Junior and the spook' sound like a good name for a band

Either that or nicknames for guys in your 'crew' :D

Mary with the Cherry isn't bad either. ;)

    Oops. WT?

I think that that sermon may have actually made me a fan of church. :)
