Hey Mag.. guess who I saw in an old movie the other night...
Charlton Heston in Soilent Green. My favorite sceen this time was when Solomon was in the chamber watching the wildlife, babbling brook, and flowers. I would have had a different choice in music, but otherwise would be better than what they have to offer by strict laws now. And, to tell the truth, if I had the choice to feed needy people instead of bugs - you know what I'd pick. Since I don't get my pick - my ashes go to Las Vegas!

Where in Vegas will your ashes be spread? Ceasars Palace in the fountain would be cool. Or thrown off that crazy roller coaster from the building top would be fun. I think I'll have mine mixed in the gravy on the buffet at the Bellagio.
Poor thing. Looks like his evolutionary process was mucked up by toxic waste.Quote:

The way I smoke, I'm not far behind you dear. I grew up in San Diego, at the very best time. I had the beach pretty much to myself. I would go diving and bring home lobster, octopuss, and assorted fish. Surfing at 6AM on glass. The water was still clean. The air was still fresh. You know, that sweet salty smell of a pristne ocean. The last time I was there visiting family, I went down to my favorite beach. It smelled like dead clams rotting in a bucket . There were 50 buzillion people and broken beer bottles along the side walk. I had to park 1 mile away. There were gangsters, wanksters, pranksters, fruit pickers, picknickers, lollypop lickers and Google eyed wienie roasters. It is gone. That's why I live in Idaho. Because the cold weather kills their spawn before they hatch. I can see for miles and miles without another soul looking back but I still miss the ocean. That's the only thing I miss. Passing on is not my worst fear at this point. I figure that the next world is bigger and better than this limited plane of existence.
I will create my own private Idaho with a really nice white sand beach. Palm trees and a rock jetty to fish from. It will look a lot like Ocean Beach in San Diego back in the 60's, complete with a perfect replica of Hodad's Hotdog Stand. I'll have a Gordon & Smith tug boat sized surf board stuck in the sand while eating hot dogs and beer, waiting for the last storm off Mexico to blow me a perfect set.
You just can't do that here anymore. My knees hurt too bad to get up fast anyway.
I too miss the beaches, my first was Point Pleasant in the 50's, then Savannah, Virginia, Med, Agean, back to Atlantic, and then Seal and Huntington. I'm sure they are not what they were before but I still miss the sound of the waves, the former fresh salty air, sunsets - all of it - to include the moolight walks without the masses and trash.. So, once you have your private beach, please mind-mail me an invite, please!!Quote:

I want you to mind mail me when after you have blasted off and get settled. When my Mom moved on, I was in the bathroom of the hospital and I began to cry. Suddenly, she started telling me not to take it bad because she was finally OK. No more suffering.
I stopped sobbing and called out to her. I asked her to let me see her but she just chuckled that little chuckle and that was it. I know it was her. Her voice sounded as if it were far away but telepathic. I had one more expariance of her a few years later.
I know a couple of times in my life I have had experiances with either Angels or someone from the other side. Nothing else can explain what happened. I know the "other side" is actually right here and now. Kind of like a radio. When a radio is on one station, you can't hear the other stations. If you learn to "turn the dial" in your mind, then you can. It is much more simple than most believe. The most important things are the most simple things.
I truly believe that your Mom and I are going to get along fine because we love our children beyond the flesh and always will.
My aunt and I have that communication - she saved me many times and I can't wait to see her again.
And your're right, it is that simple, just stay tuned on the right frequency and we'll be there. Not always when you 'want' but always when we feel you 'need' us.

Franken-Fish puts a smile on my face today!
I think we out of have a Franken-Fish holiday... Feb 22nd... LOL
I know what you mean about change, I am definitely old enough to remember clean air and sweet streams, and lakes in Alaska, lot's has changed, and in my point of veiw, not for the better. I loved it when I was a kid... fishing on the Kenai, or just going to Big Lake to stay at a friends cottage, swimming off the dock.. (till the plants touched my feet and I was so freaked out I had to never go in again)... now it is just Jet Skiis, boats (big flashy ones) and lot's a bars, it was so sweet when I was young! I have only lived in Oregon for 6 years, so I suppose I can't say much except that there are still the most beautiful sights I have ever seen, huge clear waterfalls, sweet little streams, the rivers are great and powerful! The trees are high (the ones that are left) I suppose that is how our story is going to go though! Hugs!
Another Alien Hybrid aborted. That is starting to happen a lot more.
