AWWW that should be in a kids magazine or something. So cute!!
This weekend my daughter has dance rehearsals for competition, football game with my son and clean, clean, clean...
I wish you were feeling better!! I guess its all worth it when you get that beautiful bundle of joy. So, now you will have one boy and one girl, like me! My daughter is 11 and my son is 7. It is great to have one of each..
ARe you having a baby shower? Did you pick a theme for the room yet?
YEs Tusc, the cat looks very patient! LOL

Dink the cat is stupid beyond belief he follows her everywhere she doesn't need to coax him he is just there.
No baby shower they don't do that here in the uk, room heck he is getting millies it is pale green anyway and I'm doing both rooms lol its bad enough sorting her room out and its not like he will be in it till he is six months anyway.
I have to admit its going to be kind of nice having one of each that's it after theo is born there will be no more baby's for me I don't actually enjoy being pregnant all that much to be honest I just want it over and done with I had a pretty crazy time with millie she was 8 weeks prem and very small but you wouldn't know it to look at her now huh.

I didn't enjoy my pregnancies either. OTher women look so beautiful and graceful and happy. I just felt, well miserable, fat and hungry 24/7. I actually was on bed rest with my daughter. I had preterm labor from 23 weeks on.. I know what you mean. It will be nice to be done being pregnant.
I didn't know that baby showers were a U.S. thing. I felt really awkward at mine. I didn't want all that attention on me and it made me uneasy having all that baby stuff way before I needed it.
By the way, you are my first BRIT buddy!!

No baby showers in the UK? You mean you don't go to a party, eat too much fattening food and play stupid games? I didn't have one with my son - he was very premie, but when I had my daughter - I racked up. I was managing a shop at the time and the girl that held the party asked for donations from our good customers. I swear, I didn't have to buy my daughter one thing and had clothes until she was almost three. I was humbled and have paid it forward ever since.

My favorite party game was when the party goers had to draw a picture what they thought my baby would look like - the trick was they had to hold the paper on top of their heads. I have one that looks like Shrek - it is hilarious!

That is funny EM we have so many stupid traditions here... they are ridiculous sometimes! Although it is always nice to take the bows from your presents and put them through a paper plate and wear them on your head like a bonnet!! LOL I HATED that!

I did that on my wedding shower. I guess we all have a photo of us somewhere with that silly bow hat.

OH maybe it was my bridal shower... GOSH I AM brain dead..
Did you do the one where they have string and everyone has to guess how big your belly is with the length of the string? OMG that was embarrassing!! LOL
  • Sep 28, 2007, 12:15 PM

I kept the winning string - it was only about an inch off. The one that came in last had me about 10 feet in diameter. I was big - but not that big!

LOL LOL I think everyone had one person that did that. Usually it is someone who has never been pregnant!!

We had a bobbing for pacifiers like a apple bobbing game. It was a crazy day.
