What's new with you?

Can't complain. Stuck in the middle of the country... nothing to do... read through the 5 books I brought here, went through an entire season of a TV show, working on season 2... wrote some, cleaned a lot, ate a lot, slept a lot, etc.

I guess I'm on vacay!

... I really... never thought I'd say these words... but...

I can't wait to get back to med school.

Hell I don't even swing that way, but I'd want to be there too!

Although it has been +37 up this way for the past 3 days. I am glad I got to spend so much time in an air conditioned building.

Its been uncharacteristically hot here as well, so much so that there's now a hose pipe ban :D

I have... many many many many many years left.

and yes, it is on a tropical beach, and I have a beachfront apartment... my balcony faces the water, and I can spit on the sand from my window.

HOWEVER, I never get to go... unless it's at 4am... while taking a walk as a break... from studying.

As far as bikini clad babes... tough situation, there. My reputation on the island has been... dialed down a notch. Let me put it this way. Walk into any of the 5 libraries on campus, pick a RANDOM girl, and ask her what she thinks about me... and she'll give you SOME sort of a response.

The range has been, "he's insane! last week, at the bar...he did..." to "ugh, that dirtbag..." to "I heard he's single..."

but, now that I have a girlfriend, the rumors/stories/reputation has been dialed down a bit. I still get the occasional calls from friends saying, "So I just met this girl, and she asked if the stories about you are true..."
