Very cute, I really like living here, although at this point I am not sure I want to stay after I retire in a few years. I have blond's all around me; sister in law, daughter in law, neighbors, sisters, etc, etc, I can understand. Every time I hear a new blond joke I purposely tell my daughter in law, a little get even is necessary at times... I love them all though.:)

Here's a little one my daughter said at my son's wedding tonight...

My second born said that he and his fiancé wanted to get married on the 4th of July next year. My Mom (she is 70) asked what day the 4th of July was on (meaning the weekday) and Rae said... Gramma!! Duh, it's on the 4th!!

It hurts a little to talk about this but... I am 20 years older than she is and she was never married before. She and I really want this child, we tired once with all the specialty doctors you know, but it didn't work. She is now 42 and I am old.. so the odds are about 10% or less.

We just found out last week that it didn't work and we will try again in a few months... she was devastated. Thank you for your comment.

Stringer, I understand your disappointment. I can sympathize a and empathize with you both. There are other issues to consider also concerning your ages. I really HATE to talk about this on the board here, feel free to PM me if you want. I RARELY offer this, only to friends.

I had my youngest (he's now 5) at age 38. I am lucky that he is okay, physically as well as mentally at my maternal age. There are serious physical and mental issues that come along with having a baby at this age and that should be taken into serious consideration.

At my son's wedding tonight, the sister-in-law that I have the problem with, had a child at age 45, he is severely mentally handicapped, and it is due to (according to her doctors) her maternal age.

Sorry, to bring a damper on the conversation, if you would like to talk in private, I would be happy to.
