He had a restaurant, had to close it.

He just bought the gas station before a week before he left for med school. His parents are running it but they're having problems, so it probably for the best that he's going back home for a while, get things settled, get the gas station to the point where his parents can run it without him.

Not so good Adam, exhausted, I was out in the sun most of the day and then had my staff meeting... Started at 9 this morning and I just got back home. It was muggy and 93 degrees...

Well, I will be the only one working so I can't call in so I guess I will just love the paycheck come Thursday. I think I will have 13 hours of overtime but it still won't amount to what I used to make so I still complain. Haha

What makes the story even funnier is my partner is forced to volunteer as part of his management position, it is something the company does.

Well this year, they are volunteering at the animal shelter.

They nominated my partner to be the 'King of Poo!'
