Well, he seemed quite excited to be going out on his blog...

I do understand him well concerning the mosquitoes. I do have those seasons here in Mauritius, and there are two medium plots of "wild" land in front of the house and besides it. I've once seen a hare there! :)

    EDIT: Oops, hey Jennie! :)

    Haha... :p

Actually one of my mums friends was making some "special" cookies one day and her mother came over, she panicked and threw it out the window... Where the dogs were!
They ate the lot, poor puppies, and that story is true :D haha

Every year my parents bought Snaps bonnen (sp?) they're liquor filled bean shaped chocolates. More liquor then chocolate. One of those suckers could knock you out.

Anyway, my mom always put them on a fancy plate on the coffee table when guests came over.

One time she forgot to put them away, our little 10 pound poodle ate the lot of them.

He was drunk as a skunk, couldn't even walk up the stairs. Also, the chocolate, not good. He had the "squirts" for a week after that.

Good news, he never went near them again.

Bad news, the squirts occurred on my parents brand new light gray carpet.

He almost died that week, not because of the chocolate, but because of the carpet. ;)

One of my first 'family' cooking experiences.
I made a roast with all the trimmings for the whole family.
We had a ball game for my brother that night, so we left the roast cooling on the table while we ran out to pick him up.
My 12 lb. Lhasapoo ate his own weight in roast. Twelve pounds!
I still don't understand how he did it and where he put it!

He probably buried some of it in the yard to save for a rainy day. ;)

Nope because you're using the 'invisible mode'. So, I can't be sure if you're still here or not. :/

    That dog was SO sick.
He was an indoor dog so I have no clue where he could have hidden any of it, but that plate did not have any pot roast on it.
He was a little dog we never even could figure out how he got to it!
Still loved him, he was a great dog.
The incident did not teach him anything about roast though...
He would still be begging on roast after.

My second dog (and you dog lovers are going to jump me for this one) would beg for food all the time. Well I am a big sushi fan and I finally found the one thing he wouldn't beg for... wasabi! So every meal I would keep wasabi next to me and if he tried begging I would put a wasabi covered chopstick in front of him. It actually made him wimper and hide... I won't even tell you about the day he actually licked it. :D

You guys have some funny stories.

No Alty, I still can't see your bunny, well never have I just figured you wanted us to stare at your bunnies a$$ all day.

Poor Sneezy. That does sound horrile. The heat does got to suck though. It is 90 degrees here and very humid.

You ever hear anything about Sneezy's situation?
  • Aug 14, 2009, 12:06 PM
    Alty

Sneezy will be going back to the States next Thursday. It's a no go, he talked to the Dean and everything. It's a big mess and they won't budge.

The next flight out is next Thursday so he's treating this like a vacation, then he'll go home, run his gas station and hopefully go back to med school in January.

Hey Adam! There's a thread about him already, and he's returning home. He'll be going there in January, or so I hear.
