Bear - I keep meaning to ask this. What is "reet"?

    hi Jlo, no worries :)

reet = right, but that's how it sounds with my accent :o

I know I shouldn't type with my accent, I've been doing it for so long it's a habit that's hard to break :o

    Back!

Lol, I didn't know the meaning of 'reet' until now

There was some broccoli, a salad of potato/beetroot and some fish (called 'Vindaye' the way it was prepared)

    It was good :)

That's sounds very good unky. I like fish and would try beetroot. I am sure I would have liked that.

OK off to lunch for me. Not sure about the work out today. Maybe Walmart.

Catch you all later if your still on.

    Dead.

    Dead.

She's at the garage now, fingers crossed I won't have to sell a child to pay to get it fixed!

Awww, happy birthday to him. He's getting big. I tried ice skating once - I kept doing the splits, and not on purpose.

Okay, thanks. I can't quite figure out how an accent turns "right" into "reet", though.

Red - Hope it's not too expensive to fix, maybe a new battery needed?

Oh oh red. That's not good. If you have a child for sale I will rent one for awhile. That way you have a chance to get her back. How does that sound?
  • Sep 30, 2010, 10:16 AM
    redhed35

She died at the side of the road,I did the whole 'COME ON COME'the pleading 'please car come one' the 'grrr, damn car'.

    Nothing made a difference.

Just have to wait and see what the garage comes back with.

In saying all that,I don't look after her very well and totally depend on her.

    I'm a bad car owner!

Good enough for me. I can abuse her and let her be a sitter like older siblings get stuck doing. I will get Gavin good and ready for his new sister.

Hm... did you check the fuel? Maybe the battery died? Something else maybe that the engine got too hot? And there were not enough water in the radiator?

Red, did you try talking to her and telling her you loved her and you would treat her so well after this if she just starts now? It usually works, you just can't let them know what you are really thinking.

Adam I can almost hear red talking to that car now. Oh and its not sounding to pretty let me tell you. That's my guess any ways.

I did adam I did,and then I kicked her and thumped her,and then went back into begging (im talking about the car not the kids, just in case anyone got confused!)

Unky, the whole dashboard lit up,and black smoke coming out the back... not good. Not good.

    Sunny,the teenager that's on offer,sleeps a lot,eats a lot,bone lazy,demanding and she's a money pit... I would be afraid for gavin,perhaps you could keep her in the shed?

Well, when I used to have car problems like that, I would try the nice approach first then if that didn't work, I would throw out my real choice of words.

To funny red I was sitting here thinking I hoped no one thought you were talking about your kids. But on that thought its like dealing with a kid really.

I am having a feeling that doesn't sound good.

God, I get stuck behind a lot of those Sunday drivers. It usually happens on a weekday though. I am guessing they left early so they could get back by Sunday, or They just haven't made it back yet.

Ok, so there is a convenient store I got to a lot and it is close to my house and I kind of know the family. Well, the daughter is a Colts Cheerleader and her mom sells the calanders at her store. I went to buy one today and she said they were out but getting more in soon. She then asked me if I wanted her to autograph it so I said sure. She told me to write what I wanted it to say but I drew a blank and had no idea what I wanted it to say. So, I just said she can sign it and that will be fine. Anyway, what kind of things would you normally have someone write? I kind of wished I would have something said, but what?

A Colts cheer leader? Isn't that your team? Well for starters you could have her write "thanks for last night Adam, we must do that again sometime"

    OK kidding

To heck with the calender ask to meet her! That's your thinking.

    Haha, you guys are great!

I probably wouldn't have to hard of a time meeting her, I have actually met her before. I used to be friends with her brother and I would hang out at their house so I would see her then. I almost caught her naked once on accident too. Oh, and yes the Colts are my team.

Can't say that I would have cared to see it, but I never did. I was hanging out with her brother and we were playing a video game and she was in the shower and didn't know anybody was home...

You're a good boy adam. A real good boy.

I don't have connections to anyone important. I know a guy who did work on Shania Twains farm or house or something not far from where I live. But he doesn't know her and I am not sure if he actually met her either.

Well, I don't think a Colts cheerleader is exactly famous, but a lot more famous than I. I might actually get to see her this weekend because she is supposed to be home this weekend, so maybe I can get a picture.

    Cool.
The amount of food I have eaten today is scary. Truly scary. All noodles to. Three plates full and I mean FULL. Noodles. Noodles are not good for you. Come on! Ugh

    adam_89

Noodles are good though. I split some popcorn with the girl in my office and then I ate some food from that convenient store. I feel miserable still and I think I am coming down with something too. Sore throat and my whole body is very achy.
