Starby, you better run, Stringer will pluck your last feather for that!

Hey all, thanks so much for the support. I don't know why it bothered me, just one foul mouthed little brat and me not reading the entire post (okay, I admit it!)

Lately there have been so many questions about hamsters, it's been pretty much copy and paste for the answers, most hamster are syrians and people honestly don't know that they cannot be housed together. In fact, the russian dwarfs (which is siberian breed) aren't sold at most pet stores.

Sad thing. After I logged off here we went to the pet store to get some fish for our new 20 gallon aquarium (yes, Goldie has a big home and friends now!) and while there I saw that this pet store did have those particular hamsters for sale. So I asked, can they be housed together after they reach maturity? The sales person said, we don't recommend it unless you're breeding them, and we don't recommend that you breed them. In other words, no, don't house them together. They won't even sell a pair to a customer.

Blah, blah, blah, I know, but I was really upset about this. If she had just come on and told me that she had mentioned the breed in her post, I would have apologized, blushed and given her the answer.

Why does the title of expert mean that you can't be human and make mistakes? Grrrr.

Anyway, thanks all, I'm so glad I have all of you in my corner. :)

Awww Alty, she was wrong for jumping on you. It was a simple mistake. And the idiot never gave you the chance to give the correct answer. She jumped right into insulting you and that ain't right!

I understand you guys have a lot of pressure carrying the "expert" title and most of us respect it. But just as you have disrepectful kids out there, so are there some on this site. Don't let one bad egg ruin your day. You give great advice not just in the pet forum but other boards as well.

    Shake it off girl!

NM, got your back, posted a bit of attitude myself.

Maybe I should log off for the day, I'm in a mood. :(

::shake, shake, shake:: OW! I bumped into the while while shaking it off.

On the bright side, I now have 4 little zebra fish (don't ask me what they're called, I have no clue) a algae eater (real name unknown) and a frog to join Goldie. You know we named them, we name everything. The zebra fish are as follows, Gotan, Kenshin, Dori, Squisy. The algae eater is Fang and the frog, get ready for it... is Kermit! :)

Yup, I'm crazy. Also, I don't have a clue about aquariums! I hope they live.

Don't dare post this in the Pet Forum... we've got an "expert" over there on a rampage; she might slay you for not knowing how to take care of your fishies... :p:p:p

Thanks guys for the back-up. Like M said why would he compromise his wife's safety for 2 weeks?

    Anyhoo, Hey M... Missed you!
