Ask Me Help Desk - Michelle's Growth

I'll come back in a week and see what responses I have from all of you, I will think myself about it, talk to him about it, and maybe if I can do it even talk with my brother about it since he keeps asking me what's wrong... he notices something's wrong before I even notice it. Anyway, from that I will decide what I think the truth is... I do know that I've told him a long time ago that everyone else would think he would find others attractive and he said "well, theyre all wrong"... that's not exactly what was said I don't thinkbut pretty close

Soory, it was being slow and wouldn't go so I said that more than once

And you all think you know I need to go to sleep because I'm going to be tired or whatever... it isn't that easy and I usually sleep from like 5pm - 9pm.

Can someone please explain this site to her? I need to go

How old is your brother? Please excuse me if you have already posted it elsewhere. By now, anybody following all of these thoughts about you would have to read through a dearth of posts!

Just a few things that I want to leave you with tonight, Michelle. One is a link to another poster who is around your age. She did not choose her avatar. Her avatar says, "Troll Alert High." I and others have tried to help her. She heard from me very pointedly, about wasting other people's time. That post of hers where I mentioned that to her has since disappeared. She has since then tried to post good things rather than things to draw attention to herself and also argue with those who are trying to help her. She has been listening and acting on the advice that she has been given.

Unfortunately, her avatar remains. I hope that the same thing doesn't happen to you... I am hopeful that administration will take off the avatar that they have given to her. There have been mainly three of us who have tried to help you. Others have jumped in now and then, and they are also excellent helpers and advisors. But, they also have other fires that they need to try to put out with people in trying to help others, depending on their area of their expertise.

You can trust that we are not some strangers in the darkness of cyberspace who are trying to steer you in the wrong direction. We really do care. If we didn't, we wouldn't have spent the time on you that we have already. We just aren't able to physically be there to give you a real hug when you need it or a real shoulder on which to cry. All three of us have had extensive experience in the care and counseling of youth and children by virtue of the professions that we have had or do currently hold. I may have said it before, and if I have, I will say it again. I don't think that it's any accident why certain people meet and come together for whatever purpose. There is a purpose being served right here on this site, Michelle.

grammadidi was awesome in taking of her free time to start a new thread for you! So far, I think that it has worked out pretty well! But, we seem to be going in circles again with the advice that we are giving you and the way that you are acting on it. Actions do speak louder than words, Michelle!

There is one more thing that I would like to leave with you. It is sort of a diversion, but could be helpful to you. It could also be fun to do! It is a series of private messages that I received from a member of this site several months ago.

The moniker that she uses is serena6878. I don't know if she is still involved with this site or not.

The following was the first message. This being after we had already exchanged correspondence concerning the particular concern that she had.
