Looking at the ceiling could result in the child drowning. Lean the child forward, let the blood gush, it'll stop. Get an ice cube, wrap with a towel/paper towel, place it on upper lip.

The crisis is over now but man can that kid bleed! My front step looks like the scene of a murder. I'm going to have to go rinse that off before the neighbors start asking questions. ;)

She gets a few every year, they're always bad, gushers. :(

Poor kid. She cries like she's going to die. I have to say, her big brother is great. When she's hurt or sad he does everything in his power to cheer her up. He's my little man. :)
