OK, I need to do some research now...

Remember how he chased you to get you? What did he do then that he doesn't do now?

What things did he compliment you on and now takes for granted?

Did he fake pride in what you shared with him and now goes uhhuh when you want his opinion?

When did he stop taking you out once a month?

Does he still have that admiring spark in his eyes when you do things together?

There is lots more, but enough for a start. Once these are answered, I'll start the new thread.

Any ideas are more than welcome.

P.S. Joe and Ben, These little trips back in the past are only because we are curious and not just complaining... and you are welcome to comment too.

OK folks, I commented on the first question of the 'initial chase' on the following thread I started.
Check it out and let me know what you think.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_139.gifFOR SOME REASON, WHEN I TRY TO LINK, I GET A PAGE ERROR IN INTERNET EXPLORER.
CORRECTION - It was moved to RELATIONSHIPS... don't know why, now every newbe can see it too, but maybe it will help.
Ben... was I too explicit, or did I do something wrong in posting it?

Hey everybody! I got through my dance competition. Brought home bronze medals in both competitions I danced in. I realized that I am NOT an adrenaline junkie and may be the last feis I compete in. Won't have to worry about it for another year, anyway.

Congrats dear. Dancing is a wonderful way of expressing, and keeping physically fit too. After I had my baby 32 years ago, I danced like heck around the house and got my figure back in no time. Wish I could still dance, but I enjoy music just the same.

    Thanks!

Photos aren't allowed during the competition, but there was a photographer hired by the Feis committee that was working the crowd. Hopefully when they post the pics, I can show you one.

The girls looked so fantastic in their competition dresses. Adults in our school wear only a white blouse and black pleated skirts. We looked like the waitstaff at the convention center!

Did I tell you that my digital camera was stolen when we went on vacation? I feel like I lost an appendage! I borrowed my boss' camera and snapped these at work. They are identical. The center part is on a spindle and it spins.

Wow, looks like I missed out on a lot, but a little too tired today to even try and catch up. Got lost on the way to school... Yeah, the same school I have been going to for years now. NO IT WASN'T MY FAULT, lol. Tanker truck turned over and closed the highway, had to go on rural roads, in the pouring rain, and no detour signs to direct us.

I woke up all pooped out. Connor found an old glow stick in the garbage and proceeded to try and "break" it last night to make it glow after we put him to bed. Needless to say, he did break it and got all the chemical in his eyes. WE had to call poison control then nearly drown him in the tub flushing out his eyes... fun! He's back to normal now, but Im sure tired...

Again I missed too many pages to even attempt to catch up.

All the excitement is over now. I'm just waiting for the news of being a grandmother. I'M TOO YOUNG TO BE A GRAMMA!! Maybe they'll wait 10 or 15 years.

    Keep wishing... lol...

CBW -yes, I'm glad everything went OK as well, we didn't know it was the glowstick at first, I thought he was having a stroke or something with the way he was acting, convulsing and such, but the woman at poison control assured us it wouldn't cause permanent damage, but said he was probably feeling like his eyes were on fire, I felt terrible. I had some contractions afterwards, but they died off... I did have a spark of worry there for a little while though, I did not want to go back to the hospital.

We went and bought Meet the Robinsons today and just sat there watching it and the rain all day, so I'm well relaxed now.

Im getting to that point where I'm just he crabby pregnant lady now. I try not to say much to my poor co-workers for fear of snapping at one or two of them. I hold my tongue quite a bit lately... Im counting down these last 91/2 weeks... whew.

Emland - congrats on the dancing, the medals are lovely. Wish I had the guts to do something like that.

Well, I should probably stop sitting here and get back to my ads. g'night you all.
