Hi you Alty, I am good, my parents are coming to my house soon, they have been staying in their motor home thingy, (I call it a full on house), so they come here in the mornings!
I am beat and want only to take a nap and not go to work tonight. On the other hand I will be starting days two days Mon and Fri) here pretty soon, and that is great! I still need to work out a few details with getting the other days as soon as I don't babysit any more, but that will all come together with time.
I haven't worked days in forever, we have always worked really hard to stay home with the kids, and so far it's worked! Things seem to be getting rather spendy lately and all the kids will be in school next year, so I think this is a good move. I am hoping to get a "better" job with the school district or the state, I don't know, maybe I can be a bus driver or something with benefits? Who knows, something always comes my way!
Hope you all have a nice day!

I HAD NO CHOICE... you guys know better than that dear. And, well this time she took more cash (but I understand that, that is all gone now) but she told me she is using the card already.

Really, she isn't bad at all in that area, (just when she gets the "bug") I have improved but I was the one who spent more than she. BUT it was ALWAYS for things that were needed , you know... hehe.

Yeah, with the economy, the best thing to do now is get cards paid off or down low...

Anyway, YES, she is due back at 7:20 pm, worried though, she is coming in on American Airlines and they are canceling flights like crazy for those wiring problems...

She called me at 4 this morning to say that she was boarding on British Airways to London Heathrow with a 4 hour layover then American to Chicago.

Great! That means it isn't cold with a large chance of snow flurries today where you are right?

I am so sick of this weather! Is anyone up there listening? Right. A "wonderful" high temp of 37 degrees today with heavy fog, rain/snow flurries... What! What I asked you did I do to deserve this?? I need sunshine... NOW! Are you listening?? Are you??

    Wine... yes, wine... more wine...

Nope, for once the weather in Canada is good, at least my part of Canada, can't speak for the rest. It's perfect poo picking weather. Don't worry, I'm wearing rubber boots, otherwise, EWWWW!

Hello my dear friends. I hope you are all healthy despite some miserable weather conditions. I know what cold and wet or icey weather can do to a lot of us 'older' folks, so I really feel for you.

If possible, stock up of Vitamin E and lots and lots of Vitamin D. I have always used Vitamin D during the winter months as part of my survival package. With Firbromyalgia, arthritits and degenerative spine - it is important to have these supplements - and also Aspirin (if you are not sensitive to it). I also have a lamp that has a red bulb, gives warmth and this helps to ease the pain from 'constricted' muscles. Also a nice warm bath helps you - I use a whirlpool type mat that makes those bubbles just massage me in the tub. Unfortunately, I have no tub, so I have to use my daughter's when I visit her. My grandson does not like the noice the machine makes, but thinks grandma looks funny in the tub with her bathing suit. But it does wonders for me.

As far as spring cleaning, that's out for me this year, can't move much without having sever pain afterwards, but someone come in once a week now to help me with the basics, thank goodness. My doctor requested this assistance through my health insurance company and they approved his request. My movements are limited, but I won't let this drag me down - I always have been a fighter and will keep on fighting to survive for as long as I can - as long as I can still see my family and be in the comforts of my own surroundings.

I know I have not been here for a while, but you know that I am always with you, whether I am online or not.

Thinking about all of you wonderful people, and sending lots of Virtual Hugs!

    Cher

Just complaining about the weather... cause I can I guess... we all get what?. Bit**y at times... and I haven't seen Marta in three weeks... she gets back tonight at 7:20.

I hope that you are content and happy, you sound that way and that makes me happy too.

You are right, positive thinking does work...

EDIT: Ok... now I need to get some work done in my office. I promised Marta that I would finish cleaning up my office BEFORE she got back. AND, for some reason it isn't done yet, I have 4 hours to finish or suffer ridicule... no, can't stand ridicule... got to work now.

Where are those empty boxes, so I can dump everything in them and hide them in the garage?

Yep, and what would you do without us? Oh no, you might turn on each other hehehe! Kidding.

And that is what we do best, everything has a reason and purpose, you just have to try and understand... it is logical.

For example, why do guys wait until the last minute to Christmas shop? There is a very good reason my dear. Usually things are already marked down (important) and there is not too much left to choose from. Thus the decision on what to purchase it clear... only a few choices...

You don't buy it do you?

Stringer my love, I'm sure 'ridicule' is the LAST thing on Marta's mind. She is probably just as anxious to see you and hold you in her arms as you are, so don't fret the 'small' stuff. Just put on her favorite shirt, her favorite aftershave and enjoy her homecoming.

I am on a little emotional rollercoaster right now, but happiness is on the top of the ride and I intend to make it the goal for the end of it too.

    Enjoy the weekend!

What would I do without men, hmmm, I'd clean out the garage, and park my car in it. Kidding, I love you guys, I really do.

Christmas shopping, hmmm, some of what you say makes sense, but still not buying it. Every year I tell hubby not to buy anything, I'd rather we spend the money on the kids. I always end up getting something though, and I also buy for him, even though every year we make a pact to not buy for each other. Hmmm, lacking communication maybe?
