Muddy, do you have any relatives who's last name you like? Maybe a grandmother's maiden name or something?

    Hawaii for dinner.

    A cruise.

    Sky diving.

Those silly little pottery places where you make your own bowl with I heart dogs on it.

    A séance in a graveyard.

I've been out of the game for a while. Can you tell? ;)

LOL! Okay, I think the most salvageable thing there was the pottery thingy. But that's corny, even for me.

Can that me amended to be a walk in a graveyard? I love walking in cemeteries. They're also so peaceful and beautiful. I make sure to give the old mausoleums and headstones some attention and love.

LOL. I liked what you said. Makes sense.
If dating for them is hanging out, I wouldn't be so ill thinking about what's to come. But that thing about kids having kids, is so true. There is a girl in my town who is 14 and pregnant. Her mom thinks it's wonderful. She is always at the Wal Mart buying baby stuff. I know her older brother who is completely mortified about the whole situation.

The girl said it's like a fad at school. These girls think it's cute and fun to be pregnant. It's a fad to have a baby!

Lol I can just picture his face if I asked him if he wants to hang out in a grave yard! :p

When I was 16, I was a CIT (counselor in training) at a camp I'd gone to since I was about 10. There was a girl there who missed her sister because she couldn't be at camp that year. She was 12-13 and pregnant. There was another girl who's cousin was pregnant with her second set of twins. She was 15.

My sister got pregnant when she was 16. That was bad enough. I just can't wrap my head around 12 year olds getting pregnant, or a 15 year old having 4 kids, already.

Here's a couple links that might be interesting:

I used to love to take a walk in our local graveyard, until the night hubby and I (then boyfriend and I) went to put flowers on his fathers grave and spent 3 hours looking for the crooked tree that he swears is right next to the grave!

It's a hug cemetery, we never did find the grave, but we did get escorted out by the police.

The fun never ends with R. ;)

    Ahem! ;)

I actually can't be mad. You're single, Muddy's single, so go for it. But, remember, if I'm ever single, I'm coming for you, Muddy or no Muddy.

    Fair warning. :)

I grew up taking family walks in the cemetery. We'd go a couple times a month, as long as the weather was good. It was always a special treat. We'd take paper and crayons so we could make rubbings of the headstones. Afterward, we'd grab an ice cream cone across the street, then walk home.

It was one of the few times when it was sure to be quiet family time. I don't remember us ever fighting or yelling at each other or being upset. Our mom instilled in us that the cemetery was a quiet, peaceful place where you showed respect for the dead. It wasn't a place for yelling or running or fighting. It wasn't a place to be feared. It was a place of peace and remembering.

It's a belief I still hold close to my heart.
