I'll have to tell KC to get on here. :) He's on vacation this week, but maybe he'll join us. He's been busy with work though.

The wedding dress - I was thinking of wearing my mom's dress at first.I look a lot like she did.
    http://i518.photobucket.com/albums/u.../momsdress.jpg
She was married in 1981 - pretty daring dress for then, I think. I was born 9 months later - I think there's a reason for that! After trying it on, it just seemed too serious, plus being fitted to the knees would make it difficult to dance. Now, my aunt is making my dress - she's a very talented designer and seamstress. She made her own dress 30 years ago and it is beautiful. Mine is going to be halter top, beading, fitted to the waist, shirred, and white. I talked to her earlier and she's ready for the first fitting, so I'm thinking of driving down for that and spending a couple of days with my grandfather.

Hi Aurora Bell. We haven't met but I've read lots of your posts. I feel like I know you already. I love Pete - he's a year old tomorrow.

Red - that is me. It was after a day at the lake (thus the raccoon eyes), and I was really tired. Couldn't even smile. I sent the picture to my aunt, who was in my mom's wedding. She thought I looked just like her, but also said we could do something more my style - i.e. fun.

I thought the dress looked great. Would you just modify that one to 'update' it, or go with something completely different?

Red - Yes, hair up. John wants it up - something about nuzzling my neck. Haha. I want to wear something of my mom's so I'm wearing some dangly earring she got from my father years ago (something old). My aunt is very stylish. She's loaning me this feather cap to wear instead of a veil - I'm just a little more modern, so I'd feel silly in a veil. (something borrowed) I won't tell you what the something blue is. Okay, I'm getting giddy now.

Bella - I'm going with something different, but I did like the shirred waist of my mom's dress so we are using that. My aunt is making a dress for me - she's made dozens of wedding dresses and is really talented. Mine will be halter - I don't want to have to worry about pulling it up all the time, and then I can dance with abandon.

Bear - I know, he has such a great face and a personality to match.

Ghosthunters... do you really think there are ghost? The reason I ask is because there are so many people who say they see them... You've seen some of the threads. Spoooooooooky!!

I believe they are real. But you have to understand there are many classes of them. So what some people see they just lump it into the simple box. Religion is filled with spirits and guardian angels. So why can't they be real?

    I got a new toy :D

We bought a Nintendo Wii, unwrapped it, plugged it in, started playing it then it just shut down and wouldn't turn back on.
We took it back to the store and they didn't have any more to replace it (they were a LOT cheaper than anywhere else in town) so we got a refund.

I then went out and bought a spankin' new laptop :D
I luuuuurves the widescreen, although still getting used to the chocolate keyboard.

I just finished watching Shutter Island. What a strange movie. Very interesting. Worth the watch for sure.

NIIIIIIICCCCEE Shazzy! I have a wide screen lapy too. So much better. My mom has one with a dark key board, I always have to look where I am typing.

Did everyone else get an email from amhd command central 'explaining' why they made all the changes with the new skin WITHOUT actually addressing any of the concerns we've been voicing? Or am I just special?

I got a reddie from a member with only two posts, neither of which are in the thread I got the reddie in. on top of that, they didn't make a comment with their reddie, so I even know what my perceived error was.

is everyone else with on LOVING the new skin?
