That looks delicious Unky. One of my favorite things to cook is Chicken and scallop Alfredo. I also like doing plain and simple boiled dinners, and I make a mean spinach dip. I love cooking too. And I LOVE hot wings. MmM

I eat more wings in a week then most people do there entire lives. The hotter the better. I order these ones called Rectum Wreckers, fun times. So hot your nose runs after one.

Of course let me ad I live in a town with 4 colleges. Of course pizza and wings will be big.

The food me and Mum make, is just so flavorful it makes your nose run. My favorite wings are suicide wings

I make these wings and everyone loves them. Its all I am allowed to make for family functions. I just use Franks red hot, habernaro sauce, molasses, sugar and butter. Bake them until the meat falls off the bones. Yummy!

Well actually I love boiled dinner. One of my favorites. I prefer it with ham though. I know some people who use beef.

We eat it with pancakes, sometimes we add salted fish to it and we can eat it with rice, or bread, or 'fried bread'

Actually... boiled chicken, isn't too bad. Use small enough amount of water, let the juices flow, add some celery and other low cal veggies, you have yourself some soup

Hang on,what do you mean 'boiled dinner'? Exactly?

Its probably some exotic dish I've never heard of,a boiled dinner here is like spuds, carrots and boiled chicken, with a splash of gravy.

Go in your room and shut the door. Whatever you do don't take sides!

Better yet stick both your fingers in your ears, squeeze your eyes closed and say naanaaaaa naaaa naaaa naaaaa really loud.

He and I are the only ones home.
And if you knew my dad, you wouldn't suggest leaving the room while he's talking. That's DANGEROUS

I've actually tried the fingers thing before. I got punched in the face for it...

I have seen you mention him a time or two.
Well he shouldn't drag you in to it. That's the worse. In all my life I only heard my parents argue once and that's only because they didn't realize I was home or it never would have happened.

Sorry to hear that. No one should have to go through that. Ever. For some reason I thought your parents weren't together. But I could be thinking of someone else I guess.

I thought your dad was leaving emop?

Red when I cooked boiled dinner I use slat beef or salt pork, boil that, than boil all the veggies Sunny mentioned and toss it all together. Real Newfoundland or Cape Breton style would be to cook a duck or partridge with it. Mmmm

I don't know if this is too late or not, but I have a few stones that might help.

Pyrite, Ruby, Tourmaline (Green), Lapis Lazuli are all good for your brain.

Hematite, Howlite, Rhodonite , Unakite are all good for your memory.

Just carry one, or wear it if it's in jewelry. Keep it on the desk with you while you take the test. They'll help even more if you keep them nearby while you study.

Amber, Bloodstone, Charoite, Citrine, Peridot, Green Amber, Jade, Jet,
Malachite, Moss Agate, Pyrite/Marcasite, Silver, Tiger Eye, Turquoise can all help draw money to you. Basically, most green, gold, and yellow stones are good for drawing money.

If you have a business, then place a citrine over the door and in or on the cash register. You can also keep a piece of citrine in your wallet or purse.

If you can find them as stone beads, then you can string them as a necklace or bracelet. Just be warned, most of the stone beads they sell in craft stores are either not what they're labeled as, or are altered. Also, there are some general care tips to keep in mind.

Amber melts when exposed to strong heat, so you shouldn't wear it while cooking or near a fire.

Charoite will change color if exposed to heat or moisture. It doesn't hurt the stone any, just darkens in color.

Malachite and pyrite shouldn't be exposed to excess moisture. They'll both tarnish.

Amber, jet, malachite, and turquoise are all relatively 'soft' stones and can become scratched or broken.

Some things to look out for with fake or altered stones:

You can tell real amber by heating a pin and placing it on the piece. It should smell like warm honey. Fakes will smell like burning plastic. You can also try placing a piece in water overnight. It should turn into a jelly-like mass. It doesn't always work, and will ruin the piece, though.

Stones sold as turquoise are sometimes really dyed howlite. Howlite is a white stone with black veining similar to turquoise. Dyed howlite, and color-enhanced turquoise, will 'bleed' color if placed in water. You'll end up with a cup of blue water with stones at the bottom.

There's also a stone called turquinite that's often sold as turquoise. It's softer than real turquoise and lacks the distinctive banding, though.

I don't think I have any of those stones. I mostly have Amethyst, Amber, Jade, and onyx. I would love to get a turquoise stone. My jade is a really dark, almost black. I also have a Jade stone cat, but it's supposed to bring on fertility, so I try not to touch it lol.

OK, the amethyst could help. It's not the best choice, but it's not the worst.

Hematite is that black-silver stone that's often used to make magnetic beads.

    Edit:

Azurite, beryl (which includes emerald and aquamarine), optical calcite, and apatite are good stones to use while studying.

If you can get a hold of a good piece of optical calcite, then you can actually read through it. Read the harder to remember pieces of information through the stone. When you take the test, hold the stone or look through it to help trigger your memory.
