Myth, tomorrow is the day! I hope you are sleeping well right now cause you won't be tomorrow night.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!! Sleep deprivation sux!!

I know for a fact, I got in a mild fender bender with my new car today! Good thing there was NO damage to either car.

I followed all precautions Mom, I am in a luxury car, was backing up, she was in a small, compact car and I did not see her. I had my arm around the passenger seat looking out the back window. Did NOT see her.

Just a little bump that was all. No damage, so to speak of.

Never even had a ticket or accident in my 42 years!! I am still moving my heart back to the right position and that happened 4 hours ago!

Well sleep has been elusive tonight and it's now three thirty in the morning. We will be leaving for the hospital soon... Maybe I can get some rest there... lol. Well I will keep you all posted as soon as I can... I know the babies stats will be posted before I even leave the hospital... Just a bit longer and there will be two new members to the family. Well, I guess I will be back in here pretty soon. I'm not making any promises as to when, but I will check in soon... I may even write a birth story for the preggy section... lol... hopefully it will scare the teenagers into not having sex... Well I can hope can't I? Well I'm going to go lay down and rest for about ten more minutes while he packs up the car and then we're off to have the little ones... Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes text book... I'll miss all yous guys while I'm gone and I'll think of you all from time to time. Thanks for everything... see you laters

I am so excited for Myth!! I was talking to her as I typed to you all. She was quite tired when I talked to her.

I hope to see her on Friday, but will call her tomorrow on my break at school.

Jessica and Charles, don't they sound like ROYALTY!!

Mom, I saw today that you are dodging another big one. Eduardo has been downgraded. I always wanted to be in a hurricaine. I have experienced earthquakes and the like, but I love a good storm.

Maybe I should be a storm chaser instead of a nurse!!

Thanks Tal but we're just a bit soggy for it, really. It did exit the state right where I live and since we had two really bad ones and a couple of close calls over these last years, everyone here gets twitchy about storms.

Twitchy is a good adjective for a hurrican Val. In Ontario the last hurricane we had was in 1954. Well before your time. I was a very young child when it hit Toronto, but I remember my mother being very nervous. Not something that we are accustomed to. We get the odd tornado. Thankfully not big ones. My daughter moved to northern Florida a couple of years ago. I start to worry about them around this time every year. They are very close to the gulf. I don't know how you get used to it. I would be a nervous wreck.

And K_3 where are you from?

Im from a small island in the mediterrean sea, Europe :D

I am from Idaho, quite close to the Oregon Border. We have mountains close for skiing, a lake right here for skiing, boating, fishing. It is considered the northwestern part of the US. We have all of the seasons, but no severe weather to speak of. This summer it did get quite hot, but no humidity and that helps. The city I live in is big but not huge. We can always catch a flight from here to Portland, Oregon or Seatlle, WA for aound $100 round trip and have a great shopping day and come home.

WOW I just can't comprehend what it means to live in such a huge country.

KRS I am sure it is overwhelming to you. Our states are like European Countries. It is something when you really think about it. Although I think in the US different parts of the country the people are some different. I have lived most of my life in the west but have lived elsewhere for a time off and on. I do know there is a big difference in people from the Eastern US and here. I have a friend that moved to Washington DC and just came back. He did not like it, and was miserable. He said he felt it easier for an easterner to fit in in the west than the other way around.

    K_3 very overwhelming actually.
Its true your states are like some european countries, but we all have different cultures to some extent.
I left home and went to live in the UK for 6 years.. it took a while for me to get used to their way of living and adapted rather well... But home is home at the end of the day and I was pleased to be back on my Rock in the Mediterrean Sea ;)
    Great weather, great food... :D

In Canada we to have differences between the east and the west coast people. The east coast people are very friendly and down to earth whereas the people in the west are very uptight and suspicious of friendly people from the east. I visited my daughter in British Columbia a couple of years ago before she moved to Florida. That part of the country was beautiful but not as friendly as what I am accustomed to. I have yet to visit her in Florida. I have too many responsabilities here. I hope to visit soon though. I envy you living on a small island with perfect weather. My youngest daughter and grandaughter and I visited Michigan this year for a holiday. I fell in love. My hope is to see more of the U. S. in the future.

I take offense to this remark. I am in WESTERN Canada and I don't think what you said was true at all. I think all of the bigger cities are a little more to take when you are from a smaller town. I have been around the country a little. I have found the exact opposite to be true, but I am not willing to conclude that all easterners are this way. I think that is a very naïve and arrogant attitude.

I envy your little rock also... It sounds wonderful. I think the difference in the US is that the east coast is so heavily populated and larger cities. In the deep south it is very different than here also. The cultures are not as different as in Europe, but there are certainly differences. I think you find friendly people all over the world, and you will find some not so friendly. I have travelled all over the states, but not out of the country. That is my next step I have friends in other countries, so I am ready

Uh oh, breaks out the skittles and begins passing them around in a delicate serving bowl with "Chill Pills - for really good manners, take two" etched in the lid. Clears my throat and says sweetly, "let's keep in mind that we come from all over here at AMHD and that social style differences are just that, differences."

I've traveled extensively and some places definitely suit me personally better than others but I am not about to publish that list publicly since it will offend and truly serves no purpose. Forgive me if that sounded like a lecture, but I confess it was one! LOL More skittles, anyone?

Yea, and where else but in the South (Florida) can you be cussed at, shot at and nearly burned out of house and home right in your own back yard? That's what I want to know! We need to stop bathing and shaving our unwanted leg and under arm hair and move to France.

I haven't heard of the new Buffett Song. I took 9 math classes (due to the fact I lack in the math area) and hated every one also.
