Good morning Stringer, or afternoon. :)
Aren't hangovers fun? Remember, lots of water, and some tylenol, that should do the trick. You'll feel better later today, or tomorrow. ;)
At least you had fun, that's the important thing. :)
HOWDY! Everyone... get enough sleep after all a that celerbatin on the 4th Stringer?. whut da heck,it only hapns 1ce a year,so it's OK... hick.
Starby, Alty, and Start.. I sure hope all the four-legged babies are better. I know my cat went bonkers for a while - and when he hides, he forgets to come out and eat, drink or do his 'duty'..
A doc told me a long time ago that an eye dropper with water and a few drops of whiskey can save a life and did try it a few times... it worked on my dogs, cats, and my baby when she had middle ear infection on the airplane.. so there must be something to the remedy story.
Cross your fingers that my 'down-days' will be over soon, next visit with doc is Wednesday and I plan on reading him the riot-act - I've also missed a few cancer group sessions and my 'memebers' there miss me, so I have to start on the road to recovery as soon as possible. Gosh, I just hate to be missed, don't you?. (actually like it, but don't like letting others down when they need someone too).
Well, got to go for a while and see what other trouble I can stir up in the relationshi's section..
C.U. all later.

Hi Chery,
Long time no talk, I missed you.
My four legged babies are all fine, so are the two legged ones. ;) It's been a neat week, the kids are done with school, the weather has been really nice, almost too nice, and they are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Good times, ah the joys of being a kid. :)
Go stir up some trouble on the relationship boards, I'll be watching. ;)
My fingers are crossed. I do hope you feel good soon. My bunny is drinking but not as much as I would have hoped. We will see what happens. I believe the whiskey story, I have heard those types of remedies work for all sorts of things! Go on and stir up your stuff over there in the other threads, they like it;)
I sure hope you are feeling a lot better soon Chery, and my best wishes to you for your down days to be very few and far between very soon. Godspeed!Quote:

Chery?. can you adopt me? ;) I love your advice on the other boards! :) Oh, and I have also heard that my mom used to dip our soothers in whiskey when we were babies, if she couldn't get us to calm down and go to sleep! LOL!
Starty girl... I hope Marky Mark is drinking more now... poor little fluff ball! :(
Alty.. Glad your four-legged babies are better. And.. I hope you have a few activities planned for the kids because they can get bored aweful fast.
I had a white plastic tablecloth ready for outside finger-painting - bathtub ready for cleaning afterwards
Then, even in the summer, I took plastic easter eggs and placed candy inside for the kids to hunt in the park or back yard. Anything is worth keeping them busy.
Start.. just make sure that your furry pets keep in the shade and out of drafty places - those are the factors that make them sick real quick. Bunnies usually get liquid through fresh vegies - just don't wash them before giving it to them though - sometimes too much chlorine and/or fluoride is not the best for them either - so hope you have distilled water around.
Starby.. Consider yourself adopted. Along with my daughter, I have a beautiful gay Italian sort-of-adopted son already and I've always wanted more children. You can officially call me mom now any time. Gosh, every time I read your name, I want to go make a good cup of coffee - I just love those bottles of Starbucks coffee my daughter gets me now and then. After twenty years of not drinking coffee - I now get the urge and it has to be special - not the perculated plain stuff.
Stringer.. wassup`? Still hung-over dear? Say hi to Marta for me.

Awwww, Thank you my newly adopted Momma Chery! :D
I got my nickname long before there was a Starbucks Coffee House. I was the co-ordinator for a local baseball league, and one of my friends on our team all of a sudden started calling me Jo Jo Starbuck Buck. I asked him why there where two "bucks"... he told me that's all I was worth!. all in fun! There are still a lot of people around town that don't even know my real name! Unfortunately, the name has taken on a life of it's own, and there have been many variations over the yrs. "Bucket" being my least fave name, LOL!
Your daughter and "sort of" adopted son are probably proud to call you Mom... I am too! :)
LOL... is that right :DQuote:

M?. Friend?. my dear sweet loveable, adorable, pinch your cheeks, kiss you on the forehead, hug you tight, feed you strawberries, fan you if it's hot, bring you your slippers, absolutely adorable manly man!. Whewwwwwww!!
You aren't really going to call me "Bucket" are you? ::tilts head and pouts::
What does it mean when I have something that looks like a black ghost in my bottom tool bar... can't be good right?. EEEEKKKKK!!
I am glad your little one is feeling better Start.
Chery good to see you here. (;
Alty and Starby, hey there you guys.
Stringer what's going on.
Back to the jail tomorrow /; Smile for me. Lol
:) :) :) :) :) :) There are a weeks worth of smiles for you Joe! How was your wkd?
It was fairly decent. (;
It's nice here now... but I think Alty has sent her thunderstorms this way! At least that is what the forecast says, but hey, that changes every time you walk out the door! I want to become a meteorologist, so I can just walk out the door every five minutes, and run back to my computer and say... yep, it's raining now! ;)
It's sunny here Starby, so the thunderstorm I'm sending shouldn't last long.
I'm working on the illustration for the first page of my book. Having some trouble, need to color, don't have felts or chalk, what's a girl to do?
Hi Joe, jail?
I thought I heard you said yesterday to Sydney, to take her crayons and felts to go color?. or do you just not have the right colours. How 'bout pencil crayons? Chalk would probably look a bit nicer, but are you going to be able to tell after it's scanned? Do the kids have any paints? Ohhh... you could do some finger painting?. LOL Since I am the main character, I will require the first copy you know! :p
Yes Starduck, I will send it to you when it's complete, pictures and all. I drew a rough draft of the picture, I want it to look childlike, after all, it's a children's book. Here, I'll post the picture. Imagine it with color, and grass, and flowers, and a sky, etc.

Atly,
I am free on the weekends but I serve my full sentence during the week. They let me be free for all weekends. I am still not sure how long my sentence is but it feels like its for ever.
Nice drawing. Maybe when I get out of jail I can make the castle my permanent home??
That is if it is okay with everybody. Lol

I took M's and everyone's advice and drank a ton of water and aspirins... my head's OK, but for some reason my body is sore. I wonder if someone may have taken some advantage of me when I was under the influence? Hmmmmm, Marta..
Work tomorrow, lots of problems to solve and lots of meetings for the next two weeks... not in the mood for it at the moment. Maybe by tomorrow I'll feel a little bit more like dealing with the world... long weekend now seems very short.
And Chery... give 'um h*ll Darlin'... and I know you are the one that can do it.. Let us know... K?
Stringer
I'm fine thanks Joe. It seems being the host means that everyone kept filling my glass with my own liquor, and beer and whatever that other stuff was... but I am fine now.Quote:

Wow Joe, that went by fast it seems... almost 2 years old now... that is a great age. I had so much fun with my two kids when they were two and three. Actually I always did whatever their age was, but that age was very special. You two are very lucky, but I know that you know that...Quote:

Well it is nice and cool for the summer.
Happy to hear you made a good recovery from the weekend stringer.

Now I just have to do the illustrations, but I need to get some supplies. I'm thinking of doing them in water color, but I usually only work in oils, water color would be new for me. I'll give it a try. I want the pictures to be childlike and colorful. :)
I'm hoping to get it published, it's a fun book, once I got the idea the words just flowed on to the page. I'll see what happens, the worst that can happen is that it gets rejected, can't fail or succeed unless you try. Hey, didn't a wise man named Stringer tell me that? ;)
Ohhh gosh, we are starting to see Dr. Evil come through your words... Joe... no mini me's OK? :):):)
Hi guys...
Just got done washing my FIXED CAR!! Captain if you see this... I don't blame you for how long it took, I just couldn't wait any longer the gas was killing me in the truck. You know I would have loved to have you fix my car while I made you a nice wholesome lunch ! And handed you a cold beer, or made some yummy cookies for a thank you! I miss you lots! Hope you are good Captain, as many of us do I am sure;)
Start, I miss Captain too. I hope Captain is doing well. Always hoped for that.
Well I need to go to bed soon. Take care and have a goodnight everyone.
Joe, I would love to see a picture of him, cute as a button right?Quote:

Good luck, my nephew is a published author of children's books. His latest is "A Christmas Secret"; J.B. Struzzi II. He is a great writer, his degree is in journalism, he is a speech writer for the Governor of Pennsylvania, official spokesman for PENDOT (public transportation) in Pa. And he is only 32... great looking guy. He was "Mr. Pennsylvania" TWICE for body building and came in second the third time.
He and I are very close Alty, and yes he and I have sat and talked for many hours about what he wants in life and the things he has already accomplished.
Stringer
Ohhh Alty, that is wonderful... you go girl! I hope one day you will get it published, wouldn't that be something else?;)
Night Joseph... and mini me AKA Little Cheeks and Proud!
I always wanted to write a book, I've got allot of ideas floating around my head, but usually I sit down and try, and the words that sounded so good in my head, well they just won't come out.
This time I had the entire idea in my head, sat down, and it just flowed out. I love this book, the kids have asked me to read it three times already, and I think it will be even better with pictures. Who knows, maybe one day my book will be on a shelf for sale. Eeeek, then you'll know where I came up with my user name. ;)
I do have to thank Starty, if it wasn't for her this never would have happened. One little typo led to this entire story. So thanks Starty. Oh and Starby, she's such a good sport. :)
Awwww, goll;)
Any guesses what the book's about Starty? A little canduck named Starduck. :)
That will be adorable. I can't wait to see some sort of draft of it, whether it gets published, I love reading to the kids... so maybe a soft copy for little ole bad typer start?:)
Say the word, I'll send it to you. I have to go over it again, check for spelling mistakes and such. I'd love to wait till the illustrations are done, will take a bit of time. I'll send Starby, you, Stringer, heck all of you a copy when I'm done. I hope you all love it as much as I do, but if not, be honest. :)
I tell you what Alty, I will read it to the kids and give you their feedback!;)
Have a good night, I have to go watch ANOTHER movie now;) Been relaxing some and it feels so nice. Hugs!
I'm going to go draw for a bit. Goodnight dear Starty, and keep those typos coming. :)
I'm going to be a STAR! I will have my own personal "Starduck" star on the Hollywood duck walk of fame! I will have my webbed feet embeded in cement for all to seeee... along with Alty's big hand prints. We will dine on caviar, sumptuous desserts, (no poultry, thank you!), and I will put Alty under my wing, and we will fly high above the papparazi!
I will meet all of my Idols! Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Duckman, Big Bird, Larry Bird, Tweety Bird, Batmans' friend "Robin", Blue Bird of Happiness (that flies up your nose)... all of my mentors!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... the good life! :D
Sounds terrific! You girls are the craziest...
