Time for this girl to leave for a bit, dinner time, it doesn't make itself. Darn food. Darn people that need to eat! ;)

Then it's homework time for the kids, then bath time, story time and finally bed time.

    I really need a maid!

    Later boys. Be good. :)

    I'd be miserable Bear.

You've all become very important to me. It would be like losing a lot of friends all at once.

Don't ever make me leave. Pretty please? ;)

Oops, the microwave is beeping. The meat is defrosted. Time to cook.

    Later Bear.

Found a site that shows some beautiful sites of Chicago, I thought that you may like to see the city that I live very near to.

The one that shows the Ferris Wheel on Navy Pier. I lived in the Lake Point Tower which is off to the left of that picture. It is out of view...

    Hi Alty and Stringer!

I'm doing an essay on moral education and I need examples of films, discussions, seminars that help in educating people about morality. Any ideas? (if you don't mind and can spare some time, that is)

    What about TV shows Unky?

I always found "Little House on the Prairie" to be a great example about teaching morality.

I'd have to think about it some more to come up with other examples. I'll try to post some tomorrow. That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. :)

    It's a canadian show I presume?

Yes, anything from the media (my present paragraph is how media can teach morality)

EDIT: I googled, 'american' term is perhaps better suited.

No, it wasn't a Canadian show.

It's no longer in syndication though. Do you need something that's current?

Well, it was okay, thanks! :)

I'm done with that paragraph, now onto the next, about sports and morality. I'm talking about how sport teaches young people values... and I guess I'll find examples quite easily here.

Ok, my other paragraphs in my planning:
    environmental ethics (how to improve)
religion (as a tool to improve morality)
    cultural values (same thing)
role modelling of popular people (the 'greats' like M Gandhi, M Theresa, A. Lincoln, A. Einstein, etc)

I think I'm okay in finding examples in each of them. It was only about media that I had a little problem... nowadays, we don't find much as good examples, we have more violence (action) films. I hesitate with cartoons though

    Thanks again! :)

Send me some snow. I know that in the North hemisphere, you're having one of the coldest winters from the past 10 years, and here, one of the hottest summers since long ago. :(

    That's not fair!

Ahh! It's time for me to go. It's getting late and I have to get up early to take the kids to school and get some work done around the house.

I'll try and come up with a few more media examples Unky. Remind me tomorrow because I'm old and I forget things easily. ;)

    Night.

And another TV show Unky was the 'The Waltons', 1972, an excellent example of family values and lessons learned,
