:( :( :( My little boy got sentenced in court today. It was sure not what we were expecting. I just got off the phone with my (step) daughter. She's hysterical. I'm so worried and afraid for him. ::wiping tears:: :(

Starby, I am very sorry, what sentence did he receive, if I may ask?

Two yrs in prison, less a day. :( He's in England, so I can't even go see him. I'm afraid for his safety in there. I haven't heard good things about the prison they are taking him to. He did deserve to be punished for what he did, but this was just a little over the top! We were actually thinking he would get time served, and community service. So did his lawyer.

Starby, I am so sorry for the sentence. I know your heart is breaking. For now, just love him, believe in him, pray for his safety as will I. I know you are in a state of shock probably. As I shared with you earlier, my friend's son did such a turn around because of being in prison and I pray the same thing for your son. I know your heart is breaking. I held Denise in my arms as she cried and cried over her son. It just hurts to the core of our being. I am just so sorry. I will call you later!

Time does pass and he will get through this! Just try to keep good thoughts and not allow fear into your heart. Maybe he will get placed in a different facility. My words may seem hollow right now, I know. When we hurt so deeply, words mean little but know this, I love you and my heart breaks for you and for your son and your daughter. I will keep you all in my prayers as well as praying for the jailers that they show kindness and respect to your son.

Thanks Rebby. Yeah, I don't think it's quite fully hit me yet. For whatever reason, the other two guys involved were in the court room and sentenced at the same time, and the judge said he was going to use Ben to set an example. It's really ironic. His Dad gets a $400 fine for what he did to me, and Ben gets 2 yrs. for something similar.

I haven't gotten into the shower yet today, because I didn't want to miss a call, but I need to jump in sometimes soon, because I need to run out for awhile. So if I'm not here when you call, I will call you back okay?

Try to take a good hot long shower to help you relax, easier said than done, I know. If I miss you when I call, we will connect later... no worries there.

Pretty good spydy , Friday afternoon for me so another half hour and the weekends upon me :)

Pretty good, installed a new Hard drive on the HP because of the 'blue screen' incedent. Loaded cain and abel and I'm looking for blood (the guy who uploaded a virus on my puter) any rate- My weekend doesn't start until tomorrow. Jack is going to his Grammy's for the weekend.

Starby, just a thought, however small but a thought;

With all the over crowding in prisons in most areas a lot are being released early with good behavior. Some serve about half of their terms.

I know that this may not be the answer you may be seeking dear but it is some hope.
