First isn't bad... some days I get two a day from Noobies without a clue or a shred of courtesy or respect.

They are working on a patch that will let me plant my size eleven shoe in their rectal cavity on demand. Hope its working soon.

Oh thanks guys. Ya she was a fiesty one so I expected it. I was having issues with everyone that day. There was an avi I personally thought was disturbing so I passed along my opinion on that also.

If the avi was posted in a message here as part of a thread, did you rip it?

Anything you find disturbing or offensive please rip the post right away. Let the mods make the decision if it crosses a line that we try to adhere to on AMHD.

No I saw it in a relationship thread I believe. I don't know if I can say or not but it was a slit wrist with blood every place. Not exactly what I want to see on my screen. Even less attractive since I did have a brother take his own life and that was my first thought. So thanks to that member for the nice reminder. I reported it.

I do love seeing new members come along. You can always tell the sincere from the total jokes.

Many new members are turned off by the fact the we aren't another "anything goes site". And that is what makes this place special. Adult activities are discussed but in general the site is rated PG-13. In my opinion.

That is a good thing in today's times. I would hate to see you or any members leave because of offensive material. Glad you rip'ed the post.

I know I agree with you. Sure I have days I get annoyed and think to heck with this. But I like this little escape. I like the people here I can have fun banter with. I used to get sick of sites and all people wanted to do was talk raunchy. Gets old pretty quick.

Not to mention I myself have come a long way since I came here for the reasons I did. I like thinking others have to.

I just typed out this long nice thoughtful reply to a relationship thread and its gone. Makes me swear inside.

Hey Stringer. I never got to meet Cherry, but from reading many of her posts, I am sure we would have gotten along just fine. She was a very loving person who offered great advice. I am sorry for all who have lost a great friend.

Are you feeling any better? I was waiting for you to come back and up date us! Bad boy!

    Hello everyone! :)

Well, speaking of her, if she was here, she'd pull up her noodle whip and whip our sheriff for being bad and at the same time, put one of her smileys she always used...

I hope you're feeling better Stringer. Fighting smoking is hard, but not impossible. I know you can fight it :)

I can't seem to shake this one Bella. Thank you dear for caring, I'll beat it.

Quite frankly I loved her very much as a very good friend. She was honest, sincere, spoke her mind, we clicked quickly. I admired her very much.

She was American, moved to Germany with her husband in the service and stayed. She missed the US a lot. She had a rough time after the divorce (a tough one) but she was a survivor and a very intelligent person.

I spoke with her on the phone several times and I learned a lot from this very special person. She was the kind of person that no one can replace, to me anyway.

Again, Chery, I miss you a lot my very dear friend.

What bothers me is that her daughter belongs to Facebook and she probably also received this message... :(

Your comment brought back a lot of good memories Unky... thanks, she would too.

I haven't stopped as yet but that is the plan very soon my friend.

Stinger, please, please take it easy. You know they have emergency rooms for a reason.

Actually I';ll just post it here, I'll give you the answer I think it is, and you can tell me if it's right or not...

Which of the following biochemical pathways does NOT require oxygen?

    Glycosis
    Matrix Reactions
    Electron Transport system
    Fermintation
    Glycosis and fermintation

I think it is Electron Transport system...
  • Jan 16, 2011, 10:59 AM
    Unknown008

Okay, that is beyond my reach, but the one I'm 100% sure is:
    Fermentation does not require oxygen.

Or can there be multiple answers? If so, I think I'll be able to answer all with some research
  • Jan 16, 2011, 11:06 AM
    Aurora_Bell

As far as I know, it's only one answer. Why fermentation? Fermentation does not necessarily have to be carried out in an anaerobic environment. For example, even in the presence of abundant oxygen, yeast cells greatly prefer fermentation to oxidative phosphorylation, as long as sugars are readily available for consumption.

But I do think you are right about the answer not being Electron Transport system, only because respiration is where electrons are donated to an exogenous electron acceptor, such as oxygen, via an electron transport chain.

Oi I am NEVER going to get the hang of this. :(

We call it hump day. Hee hee Sounds dirty.

What's new unky? Did you help bella with her biology problem? Way above my head. But I am sure if I were learning it then it wouldn't sound so strange.

    Unknown008

Oops, right, I always seem to confuse bump and hump :o

Well, I did what I can and Bella was happy. :)

I'm sure if I did my A levels in Biology, I'd have no problem answering her question, since there are processes I never heard about. I did some research and it turned out well.

Other than that, I'm trying my hand at some pixel art, it's working with the little tiny squares that make up everything on the screen at a small scale and zoom out to get a good quality image.

Bored to death actually... Slow day at the office. Have a lingering case of Bronchitis from the wicked nasty cold I got a few weeks ago so the coughing fits isn't helping at all.

Anyone see the video on last nights national news ( if you were in the USA) with the ice covered Hill in Pittsburgh, and all the vehicles that slid down it that was caught with a camera? I'll bet that was in mount washigton on the southside.
