Good luck Myth. We will all be pulling and pushing for you if you get my drift. The epidural is a miracle drug. Just lay there and do as they tell you. Good night.
HEY EVERYONE, longtime no see, school just started up and man I hadn't woke up in the a.m. for months until today. I hope you all have a good night, I will get on more, I just have to readjust to my new hours, so it's going to take some time. Anyway, hope you are all doing well and everything is going good. Peace.
Good to see you again wizz... what a shesy momicita j-9... :) and what else... um ill have to do a repost because I forgot..
Aww yes now I remember :) I hope all goes well for you and the kiddos I felt dumb because at fisrt I was only 36 weeks!! 1
And then I was like you're a dork... that computs to about 9 months :) I was also excited because that meant your kiddos are going to be October babies and I was like wait its August.. :( its been a long day
OK... I got a 10 year old and a five year and a four year old and three year and two year all grand-babies... raising twins are fun when catching the greyhound bus... twins ride for one place... I had a son and daughter both are twins... they are the same age for a few minutes... make two cakes... have the same amount of candles minus on cut down according to the delay in delivery... make the whole experience fun... had both children without medication... do not recommend doing that... may be the reason no more children came after them... Have a good birth myth
Thanks all... I'm getting what rest I can at the moment. I'm actually getting really used to getting up every three to four hours, that will help with feedings. I just can't seem to get comfy anymore so that helps too I guess. Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes and I will take any twin/kid advice I can get... especially twin.
I hope all of you returning/going to school readjust quickly and can handle the workload. I think I'm going to try and go back next year after the kids are at least sleeping through the night. Don't know what I want to major in at the moment, but I'm sure something will jump out at me between now and then. Thanks J, for the vote of confidence in that area.
I think my coffee pot is calling for me... take care all... Ok I've got a stupid question for you all before I go... They're inducing me at five am on wed the 30th right... Well do I count that day as one of my waiting countdown days or not... meaning if I were counting it I would have six days until induction... If I'm not then it's only five... I just don't know and have preggy brain so I can't think either... lol... What do you all think. Ok now I definitely need coffee... My head hurts now too... lol... I'll check back in later have a great day everyone.
Just popping in quick to say... 'morning, peeps!
I wouldn't count Wednesday. That's blast off day. Can't wait to hear how much the munchkins weigh. Will you send pictures? I don't know who is more excited about this event, you or us waiting. I did this 29 years ago and there hasn't been a dull moment in my life since. Good luck.
Well in that case... We've got five days left to go... lol... I will post pics and all the stats asap after they're born... I may have to post them on a web site and just give everyone a link to it, but one way or another you'll all know about them... lol. You guys have been so great!
Morning Val. Hope your day goes well.
Morning friends. I am on my countdown too. Back to School!!
Three more days of freedom, then the torture begins!!
Party while you can... I say Friday or Saturday you get rid of the kids for the night and you and the hubby go out and have a nice night together... Save Saturday or Sunday for the kids... Take the night off from the studies and enjoy your last moments of scholastic freedom...
Ah, I would love to do that, maybe I can dream it, but I already have 13 chapters of homework that is due on Monday.
The kids are staying with the in-laws on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. I have a 75 mile drive on Mon, Wed and Thurs mornings. Class starts at 7:25 am, I meet my carpool at 6 am and the schools are not open that early. Mother-in-law is a teacher at Johnny's school and Rae's school is across the street from hers, so it is the best bet.
Sounds like you need a vacation already... wish I were that busy, but I'll be busy in a few anyway... Well, do what you can while you can *shrugs*... remember not to fry your brain on your studies.
I remember being sad each day my babies went to school... I enjoyed my time with them... I am looking at a younger picture of myself with my babies... they are smiling and looking like my dream babies... my daughter is wearing jewelry... a small crushed diamond heart on a silver gold necklace... so cute... my son with his hair parted... and they were three... so SO so-so cute... by the way J9 a new picture... are you working on becoming a model or looking for that perfect picture for the book you are writing... I showed your picture to my husband and he said that is not you... quote"...you know how people place pictures of other people on line..." in short you are pretty not cute but pretty to him...
Well, I like to "change my clothes" daily. :p
Actually I never said it was me, and I never said it wasn't me.
However, if you look closely at all the pics I post they are of the same person.
Hmmmm, wonder what that means?
Only Mom, knows the truth.
I like to keep people wondering!! :D
Here, I'll change to my favorite outfit for a few.
Sorry  about that... my bag... hands over the mouth with long finger nails polished in red for shame on me... I liked the other picture better:cool: I better hide for a while so shamed...
Here is a new one!!
I change my hair color frequently from light brown to blonde,
OOhhh, you are the bad girl now. Going to have to get the whip out on you this time. :p
Going dark auburn with more blonde chunkier myself... :D hope the curls holds looking at a french curl this week... length or to cut... maybe to the shoulder cut... yeah... that's the ticket:p
Real quiet night at the Lounge tonight.
I had to get back to work... where is everybody today... I guess everyone drinking... should not have recommended drinking before noon.. watched the history channel... about peanuts and various ways it is used... oh by the way love the avatar... had other emails to write... real busy day...
Ty Luna,
I guess it is my turn to ask if that is really you!? LOL
Just kidding.
I got done studying 13 chapters for school on Monday, no drinking. Better catch up with the rest of them I guess. Can I make you a drink?
BTW, since you asked about the pics, my hubby used to be a professional photographer. Went to Winona School of Photography in Chicago.
I took classes in photography at Indiana University and became a campus journalist... now I love the dark room... creating images in black white mediums... love the ILFORD and Forte b/w film and archival paper and sometime rc... matte the pictures... just love photography... want to update my dark room... with the latest... not a real digital fan... I am more of a purest... that is why images and flowering words are easy for me... yes I LIKE MYSELF!
was curious about the pics... they looked too well done to be the normal done at homes...Quote:

Ah, hubby is old fashioned too. Digital stuff just doesn't get him excited. He like to be able to manipulate. He got his degree at Winona, but things have changed so dramatically since he was in school, more than 15 years ago. He still likes to use his large format cameras though.
Rae my 12 1/2 year old is now getting into photography. She is really taking after Dad.
Well, KP, you know the old rule...
You don't have test anxiety if you have a couple of drinks in you.
And, Organinc Chem is next semester for me. I might need you even more then.
you can always bounce questions this way. Some conceptual stuff can be answered online... a few students would email now and then.
there used to be a pizza hut within a block of my building. You could always see the pharmacy student herd to the beer and pizza after one of our tests. I imagine they had a designated note taker for the rest of the afternoon classes. =)
Well, if you were closer, I would buy you a beer so that I could actually figure out Avogadro's Number.
Man, my professor barely spoke a word of english!!
KP, what about Dinensional Analysis?
I understand that it is the same as Factor Label Method, which was my worst by the way.
Do you know an easy way to learn that one?
the only issue is when my method is different from the instructors. Most use dimensional analysis, which works really well when you know how to use it.
lets say I want to know how far I go driving 60 miles/hour and I drive 30 min. we probably know without doing the math that you'd drive 30 miles in 30 min.
but mathematically you set it up so the units cancel so
60 miles/hour * 0.5 hour = 30 miles*hour/hour = 30 miles... the hour on top cancels the hour on the bottom, and you are left with miles.
now lets say you want to know if you are driving 80 miles per hour and you drive 20 miles. How long do you drive? Well... you want to end up with time on top
you need to take 20 miles and divide by 80 miles/hour. When you divide miles by miles it cancels, and the hour flips up. So 0.25 hours.
it is easier to write this out by hand than to type it.
you always need to get the units in the same terms... so if you are dealing with milliliters, all the volumes need to be expressed in milliliters.
then you look for what it is you want in the answer. Liters? Moles? Atoms? etc.
if you have have 2.3 moles of a compound, and you want to know how many atoms there are you need to know the conversion, 6.02 *10^23 atoms/mole.
so here you multiply 2.3 moles * (6.02*1023atoms/mole) = 13.8 * 10^23atoms, because moles were on top and bottom so they cancel. Its like 5/5 =1. then you'd probably adjust the powers of 10... so 1.38*10^24.
allllllriiigghttty then. I think well need to start a new thread for more work, as this seems a little heavy for the lounge.
at least itd need to be a problem, then a shot. Ill take a wildfire, thank you.
I have been told that it does not matter what method I use, only if I get the correct answer.
Oh, you had to say moles!!
Theoretical Yield!!
Sheesh, this will be a new thread, but one that I am sure could be beneficial to the site. Ya want to start a new one and leave the Lounge for fun?
Man, you already have me messed up. I think I need a drink.
Jeeze, Rae just turned up Vanilla Ice, that is all I need right now!!
That's what boys do. Confuse you and make you want to drink.Quote:

Sheesh, have you ever had a brain ache?
No. Fuzzy brain, yeah.
OK here's another one. Have you (dont laugh) ever had your tongue cramp?
I said don't laugh.
And no, its not as dirty as it sounds unfortunately.
I have had this happen maybe 5-6 six times in my life, always when I was yawning big. Hurts like M A A A A D.
But my wife and daughter don't believe me... or they just make fun of me saying, "hep me. my ongue iz rampin op"
I said don't laugh.
Are you sure you were only yawning? I have never heard of it before but I guess anything is possible. Next time it happens have a drink. We don't really need a reason for that do we? KALOHA. My passion.
YES I HAVE HAD A TONGUE CRAMP!!
My hubby did not believe me... BUT I DID...
OMG, I thought I was the only one in the world that experienced that!!
Captain Morgan and coke is my downfall!!
Lotsa LIME!!
Okay, I have had a couple.
Time for the karoke machine!!
Are you ready for me to sing??
I thought I'd had cramps in every concievable place but MAN that tops the list! LOL
I have, however, had and still live in fear of the ENDLESS HICCOUGHS-- those can be incredibly painful!
