I'm still here Starty. They didn't make the evacuation mandatory... yet anyway. They suggest evacuating, but unless something else happens, I'm staying right here. The water main burst Starty. The water shot 50' in the air. My whole street and front yard and everyone else's is a river. The sewer drains are backed up. We've got no water, and even if we did, it would probably be contaminated. I've been melting snow for Niki to have some water. I asked one of the city workers if someone could get me some bottled water, so I hope I get some soon.

I need to get someone over here also to check out my basement. Since mine is a dirt basement, and you can only get down there by lifting a heavy hatch out of the floor, and climbing down steep stairs. I'm definitely not going down there. I also had to call the insurance company about my van, because of course my brother thought it was such a good idea that I leave it parked out on the street, instead of around back where it belongs, so I wouldn't have to bother him if it got stuck again. Well it's stuck now all right!

I haven't heard if they've figured out the cause of the break yet, but there have been city crews working day and night with loud equipment, so it's a little hard to get any sleep. Uuuhhhgggg! So yeah... this is so much fun!
