Grammy passed on last night at 7. I missed saying goodbye by about 6 hours.

Phone keeps ringing, people are coming, it just seems chaotic. My Mom is taking it hard... its weird... I've been through burying a parent and seem to be the "shoulder" now for my own Mom.

*sigh*

I want a bubble bath, Godiva, and an 8 shot Americano.

But, my grandparents place is 20 miles from civilization, right on the water... no Godiva (or espresso for that matter) for me until I venture into town.

HC, you may never know how much that "shoulder" means to your mother. Just can't tell you how much. You are a strong girl and I am so glad you are there for her. I hope there is a shoulder for you to lean on in your sadness as well. We love you and hope you feel our love reaching out to you as you go through this difficult time.
