It is a beautiful state. That is why I moved here, although I miss Chicago very much. It's been 10 years since I moved, and I try to get back almost every year. The funny thing is, that I am starting to forget the names of streets. For example Rt. 53. Haha

Came from western NY. Went to Concordia-River Forest, married, and eventually bought our starter home here (1972) which is now our retirement home.

Ok, I know exactly where that's at. My Brother attended Marmion Military Academy over there. That was several years ago. I do remember riding out that way. Beautiful area, over there.

Of course! My kids went to Glenbard East. My dad (who was from York Center/Lombard) went to West when it was the only h.s. around. Did you know a children's dentist named Dr. Bonus on Duane?

I moved out here because my parents beat me into submission. Lol

No, my parents moved out here 11 years ago while I was going to college in Chicago. Every day my Mother would call me begging me to move here. I wanted to wait until I was finished first before up and leaving. A year later I arrived and have been out here ever since. We had opened up an Italian/Chicago style restaurant. I do believe that this is where I will stay from now on. I am hoping that evenutally I will become a "snow bird". Lol However, I still have a ways to go before that.

Wow. What a coincidence! I lived in a cornfield 5 years ago. They made me move when they built houses.

Just thought I'd throw that in.
I feel left out of the chat mostly because I am on when most humans sleep.
    I'm OK now . G'nite all.

Gavin is good. He just turned 7 last week. Starting figure skating in a couple weeks. I was skiddish but I hear its good and will be good if he wants to join hockey. I don't know how to ice skate so I am glad he is willing to give it a try.

What about you? How are you? School?
