My family lives until their 90s in fact we have had five generations for years before my paternal grandparents pasted.

My materal grandmother and paternal grandparents live to all be over 95. My paternal grandparents were married 77 years before my grandfather passed away first.

Personally, I think I will be OK if I don't live quite that long, even though none of them ever had to be in a home and continued functioning well all their life, personally I don't think that I am that interested in that long of a life.

I love How It's Made, that show is awesome.

Oh and just about anything on the Food Network, include Good Eats and Unwrapped.

    I really want to know.

    I need proof. :)

I have your proof my dear.

    The chicken came first.

    And my logical reasons:

The chicken is capable of caring for its self.

    The egg is not.

If the egg came first, there would be no chicken to SIT on it and keep it warm. It would there for, DIE.

Even if the chick managed to live through the incubation process, say, by living in a warm enough climate, it would either be killed as a chick, or would starve without a mothers protection/guidance.

    :D

Not really a question, but more of an annoyance, why is it such a big deal that the Myians stopped their calender on December of 2012?

My reason for them stopping, they got bored

How do you stop a calendar on a date that hasn't occurred yet?

Ask the History channel because they are predicting the end of the world on that day

Is this a problem for anyone else?

I can't answer yours, but I have a different view...
I LOVE going to sleep because when I wake up everything is different including me. Sometimes the best part of my day is when I am asleep.
I hate/fear change but love it in another way.

Sleep is the long pause before a new light.
