    You are. :)

Could you ask your hubby a question for me?

I am being bombarded by flies.

Usually we have mosquitos and tons of them, for the last two years it's flies.

I have 4 indoor rabbits and a husband that likes to keep the door open when he
BBQ's, so they've invaded my house.

I clean the bunnies every day, but still, flies, flies, flies.

    They're driving me batty.

Either they go or I do. ;)

    Any tips?

When you get done laughing at my answer, try it.

Get a brand name ziploc baggie (brand names have a little heavier plastic) and fill it 1/2 full of clear water. Hang it as close as possible to the entry. It acts as a convex mirror and scares away the flies.

Other methods include zappers (as far away from the house as possible) or flypaper strips. Commercial establishments use sticky traps with the zappers' lights or air curtains at all doorways ($1000 per door and up)

    $1000 per door!

    I'll try the ziploc bags.

    Shopping I go.

I've been swatting them with my fly swatter but it seems that for every one I kill, 10 come to the funeral. :(

Okay, I'm going to kill me some pesky little flies.

I'll let you know how it goes.

This short clip has nothing to do with anything on this thread but I liked it and I wanted to share... I am not as religious as my mom wanted me to be and this does touch on it but beyond that it also says what it takes to make a friend... giving of yourself and I guess trusting a little... I hope you like it...

I was so happy and it was such a scary game though. Really close.

Oops, I forgot about your post Stringer :o Sorry that the Bears lost. Are they eliminated right away or is it the system of points in a group, where the two best teams can continue? If that's so, they still have a chance to 'go up' :)

    Hi Unky,

    It is set up like this;

There are presently four exhibition games that begin in August, purpose is to find the best players from new recruits, and to refine their 'system/s'

The regular season is sixteen games (yesterday was the first game of the regular season).

The teams are divided up into two conferences (The NFC and the AFC). Then within those two conferences are divisions.

Each team plays the teams in their division twice during the regular season and also other teams.

One team each will win their division along with four teams with decent win/loss records, they are called 'Wild Cards.'

At the end of the regular season the winners of each division in their conference and the winner of the Wild Card will play each other until you have one winner from each conference.

These two winners will then play each other in the Super Bowl in January 2010.

    Questions? :)

    Hey Unky!

I'm not meaning to steal this one away from Stringer but this is the way the system works.

There are 32 teams in the NFL which means the National Football League.

Each team has 17 weeks where they play 16 games having 1 week off per team.

They separate the teams into the AFC and the NFC which mean Amercian Football Conference and National Football Conference and then they separate them even further into divisions and so on.

So each team plays 16 games in a regular season. Right now Stringer's team the Bears are 0-1 with 15 games left to play.

My team the Colt's are 1-0 with 15 games left. Either of the teams could get better or worse. The colts could finsh 16-0 on the season which is unlikely or they could go 1-15 which is also unlikely. Although the Detroit Lions went winless last year finishing up 0-16, and the year before that the Patriots finished up the year before that with 16-0

Anyway depending on you wins and other factors you could go on to face other teams until the final game, known as the Superbowl. It is kind of like brackets on each side with the AFC and the NFC. 2 teams playing each other and 1 goes on to play the next team who was the winner of the other team. Then you have a NFC championship game and the winner of that goes to the Superbowl and the winner of the AFC championship also goes onto the superbowl. The winner of the Superbowl is then known as the champions of the world.

Sorry this was so lenghly. It probably wasn't needed.

I know a little about America football, that's a really dangerous one, I know. Thanks Stringer and Adam, I understood with both explanations. If I were to have only one, I don't think I would have understood it :o

It's OK, red. I'm not considering to play American football. In Mauritius, football is considered to be soccer, with the legs only, so yeah... even that, I don't play so often. More of badminton these past few months. :)
