Careful BB... we could get scratched...

Don't know why though, must be some deep physiological, unresolved issues involved... but being men we are not smart enough to understand that... but we know that we shouldn't really be talking football even for 6 posts on Guy's "Music Venue" it's not fair to the thread.

I'm going to watch... you know what again BB, later

Aw, Stringy, talk football, talk about anything you want dear, you know I was just kidding, right?

Love my guys to death, would never deny you happiness. If football makes you happy then I'll just bite my tongue and listen.

Don't expect me to contribute much, I know absolutely nothing about football, except that I like the outfits. ;)

Hmmmm... football? Jett won his game again yesterday and the day before, and the game before that, and the one before that... he is 7... and the kids are a killer to watch out there;)
    Go FOOTBALL!
As a woman, my view is to cheer on the good plays, what ever team they are on I have a hard time not giving compliments on the good plays...

Momma always taught me to try to take the high road. You know, turn the other cheek, I try... not always successful though... nope. So... I get into trouble... but not always.

I was never "taught" to turn the other cheek, good think I was born with the heart I have or there would be some broken bones and broken hearts around this silly world we live in;)
    I love your Mama;)

I was taught, if someone slaps you, turn the other cheek.

If they slap that one as well, you better kick their @ss, then light them on fire.

... is it just me or did my parents miss a few parenting courses?

    startover22
I think that is great advice... but use your "look" when you turn the first cheek, normally they know not to even try the second.
How is the business and how are you holding up?

Thank you dear... I really appreciate that comment about my mom.

And I might say, as an observer of who you are and what you do for almost a year and a half... I agree, you have a marvelous heart, a big heart.

We do go back a bit, don't we...

Yes we do... and now my company is here for dinner so you two have a great night;)

Well, starty, even with the economy, I practically doubled the old owner's revenue, and set a new high-record for revenue on Friday night.

Granted, it has its ups and downs, and I'm sure I'll have my fill of disappointments and failures, but even at this stage, I'm calling it a success.

Nice that you have company for dinner, I like to do that also... we really enjoy entertaining.

Well we did it yesterday, sis-in-law had her 30th birthday and we went all out. Hot Italian Beef (with fresh buns and broth), fried chicken, corn on the cob, tons of appetizers and deserts, much more too. We had about 60 adults and about 15 kids here. Spent a lot on decorations; hanging them from everywhere, including the ceiling in the great room and that was tough, the ceiling is 25 feet high. (yes Start, Marta held the ladder for me).

Anyway, the party started at 6 pm inside and out even though it was a little chilly we had a big fire going in the fire pit. The last couple left at 2:30 am...

Slept in until 9 am this morning. It was nice, took my mind off all this stress of late.

She "made out" great... got about $650.00 in gift cards, a diamond ring, and a bunch of other "stuff."
