    Maybe the fireworks started :)

So sunny what's it like in New York, is it like in the movies, streets are always full of people, the roads are always full of traffic jams, the manholes are always spouting steam, and there always an angry italian on every corner?

Well I am hours, like 6-8 hours from that chaos. I live in a tiny town near the canadian border. We have one traffic light. Its pretty small. Your more likely to see deer and rabbits, sometimes moose but those are rare.

Where I am at the moment? well its rather nice I think, no real hussel and bussel, we have a little town centre where most of the shops are, and there's the odd super market around, its a lot greener from where I used to live, more fields and trees :D, I'm in a little town called stafford in the west midlands of england :)

    Sounds really nice.
You know what I love about here, is the Amish. There are communities and they still have horse and buggy lives and dress in those clothes and its so amazing in this day and age for people to survive living like that. Every day I see them and have to drive around the buggies on the road.
  • Jul 4, 2009, 07:27 PM

Ah cool, I've wanted to visit an amish community, because they live without any electricity (is that right) it would be like seeing how people lived in the past, before electricity revolutionised the world :)

Bet it gets annoying though, having to allways overtake them on the roads :D

I used to work on an island in Michigan where they did that. I worked with some people who graduated together in the highest number of graduates ever at that school. Nine at once.
